I like Peter, but it is true that he looks kind of strange in ancient series at times. I think he is talented though. He is a great singer too...

I heard that Hu Ge is playing Liu Lang(6th son), Peter plays Si Lang(4th son) and Eddie plays QI Lang(the 7th son). I also wonder who is playing the other sons?

I think Amy plays their mom. I don;t know any of the female casts, but that does not mean that they are not experienced.... Just because we don't know them doesn't mean they are not good actresses.

The pix is kind of dark, but it seems like that Peter has a very modern hair. I hate these new series where they make the actors look like anime characters. Too modern for ancient series.

does anybody have the theme songs for this series? it looks interesting. i thought that the forth brother married the advisor's daughter, just like in warrior of the ynag clan, how can he be married to the foreign princess with love?

i can't wait until this serie come out. peter, hu ge, and eddie are three of my most favorite actors!

Thanks so much for the links and pix you guys! VERY nice! I may see this series since I haven't seen a decent series about the Yang brothers yet. I also skipped Alec's version... The 4th brother marries the Liao princess ahd has a son with her... I think he did love her, but he missed his family and felt guilty towards his first wife. I feel bad for him.... But many thought that he was a coward...

I also can't believe that little girl is Yang Ba Mei?? ARe you kidding?? I don't think that Yang Ba Mei is THAT much younger than her brothers. Where is Yang Jiu Mei?? I have noticed that a lot of these later Yang family based series seem to leave her out. I don't think they should do that... A lot of people don't know that Yang Jiu Mei exists!!!
