They 'happen' to be sisters? They 'happen' to look alike...twins? That has to be too much coincidence for my logical mind to swallow. Need to pull the other leg .

Exactly, I remembered jin e saying that when they were in the woods, so I thought that the producers would go more into detail, but i guess not.

yeah. i thought they might go into this whole thing where they "uncover" either her or xiao lin's identity or something. guess they couldnt fit it.

It wouldn't have been much use for the plot. No major driving factor except to dig deeper into Qi Liang's story.

Yeah that's kind of true, but I still felt that the producers did leave some other things unexplained or unwrapped.

yeah! the ending was so sudden! that was like the only part that could be even considered bad in the whole series.

LOLZ... I understand that the series did seem to end suddenly and without fully explaining every issue; but in all fairness, how many series can you name that explains heads and tails of every little story? I can guarantee that you can't even name one without being wholesomely wrong.

A few issues that I've noticed others provoking:

    1) The thing with Xiao Lin and Jun E
We can actually envision them as sister, knowing that Xiao Lin did mention that she had a sister (and notably that her father was a real "pimp" ^_^)

The part about them looking completely alike; yeah, too hard to accept as a fact, but hey, that's why its call TELEVISION!

    2) Si Lang's "lost of memory" - this again is according to story (I'm not positive about the true history, b/c with what I've read; legends says that the 4th child of the Yang family was lost and never found again in the last battle... SO YOU TELL ME!).

    3) Wu Lang's transition; MONK! Well, from what I know, in history one of the 7 sons of the Yang family did turn to a new leaf and become a monk; but that was b4 the very final battle where the 4 sons died. ^_^

Anyways, overall... I think the script writters really did what they did in editing the series because they expect the audience to have already understood the outcome of the story; being that, there are so many series out there about the Yang family; audiences should have a pretty clear view of how everything ends up (factual or not).

Every series have its limited TIME, there's no way a series can fit every story in and perfect it. For me, YOUNG WARRIORS sure as hell came very close to PERFECTION! I mean, most of the stories were so cleverly written and portrayed that it's hard to dig out FLAWS!

    So true, so true.
Though there still things that were left in the air, I think this series was one of the best remakes. I've watched this series more than four times in about 2 months.

THIS SERIES IS SO GOOD!!!!! All the actors/actresses are so good....I know who Guan Hong is going to chose, but although I love 5 Lang I kinda feel bad for Yelu Xie too. You know, its so hard to hate the villains in this series...
hu ge, yang mi, yuan hong, liu shishi.
    wang luodan, li guangjie.

It is hard to hate the enemies of the Yang in here; minus Minister Pang! I mean, technically speaking Yelu Xie is not a villian because he's being dutiful to his country. Its like saying all soldiers are EVIL, which is definitely not true! I mean, Yelu Xie is a total hunkie and complete loyalist!

Unlike Minister Pang, the Tang enemies are respectful of each other; at least Empress Xiao understands the strenght and respect the name of the Yang Force, rather than overlook them and blame them the way the stupid emperor does. ^_^ Minister Pang is the only real EVIL guy in here; he's willing to let his country prevail for his own pleasure. PATHETIC MAN!

You know, I know I'm going to get killed for saying this, but I actually felt really bad for Pan Ren Mei sometimes. Like I'm not at this part yet, but I skipped to the part where Pan Bao died, and I really felt bad for him because he truly loved his son (I think....I'm not sure cause I was kinda skipping around and didn't really watch that scene properly )
I also really hate Pan Ying, but sometimes feel bad for her. Still, I seem to hate her the most since she broke up Liu Lang and Xiao Chai (haha i know they don't call her that but i like calling her that )

well i didnt really get the impression that pan ren mei had any love in his heart, because all he did was use people for his own personal gain. as for loving his son, i wouldnt be so sure of either since he ended up killing him himself.
and pan ying was sweet until she turned evil. but then in the end she died anyway, so...alls well that ends well althought i really dont get the last episode. it seems like it skipped so much! the one before the last episode ended with like pan ying being stabbed and the last episode just starts with her lying on the floor. whats with that? i wanna know what happened in between!! and then when pan ying dies 6 lang just holds her while chai jun ju was like dying over there! she still had like a huge gaping hole in her chest!!

I thought Princess Chai's injury was more serious than Pan Ying, but somehow she lived.
