Wei Xiaobao [伟小宝] (not very confident about this one)
'春和日丽白龙逃' - 'White dragon escapes on a clear and sunny day'. '春和日丽' refers to fine weather, but the characters '丽' and '春' can be joined to imply '丽春院', which is the brothel that Wei Xiaobao grew up in.

'鬼使神差饮鱼汤' - I have no idea what this means

'厚颜巧嘴走天下' - '厚颜巧嘴' could refer to Wei Xiaobao's thick skin and glib tongue. He was known to be shameless and a smooth talker.

'左拥右抱登庙堂' - '左拥右抱' literally means 'hug left, embrace right', usually used to refer to men who physically hold on to several woman at once. Wei Xiaobao is, of course, known having seven wives.


七十六∶幽林曲径风飒飒，寂寥荒村有人家，对牛弹琴痴痴笑，万般无聊望桃花。

'幽林曲径风飒飒' - Something like 'In a hidden forest with winding path, the wind blows audibly'

'寂寥荒村有人家' - 'In a desolate village there is a family'. The first two lines seem describe Niu Jia cun [牛家村]。

'对牛弹琴痴痴笑' - '对牛弹琴' means 'to play music to a cow', or to talk to someone about a topic that he does not understand. '痴痴笑' means to laugh like an idiot. Sha Gu is mentally disabled, and can only 'laugh like an idiot' everytime someone talks to her.

'万般无聊望桃花' - 'To look at Peach Blossoms with great boredom'. After Huang Yaoshi brought her back to Peach Blossom Island, she must have been bored out of her mind as there was noone to play with her.


八十四∶谈琴论棋古柏中，考檗蒹葭伊人逢，卧虎藏龙狂生服，遗言传罢去如风。
He Zudao [何足道]

'谈琴论棋古柏中' - 'Discuss qin and chess in an ancient wood'. He Zudao was talking about chess and qin in the woods with Guo Xiang while en route to Shaolin.

'考檗蒹葭伊人逢' - I don't know what this means. Something about meeting a lover? Did He Zudao have a thing for Guo Xiang or something?

'卧虎藏龙狂生服' - 'The proud one submits to the hidden expert' (I think). At shaolin, He Zudao was miles ahead of everyone else. When Zhang Junbao and Jue Yuan exchanged blows with him, he was surprised that two lowly monks could have such power.

'遗言传罢去如风' - 'Goes like the wind after leaving a final message'. He Zudao's purpose in going to Shaolin was actually to deliver a message to a monk called Jue Yuan. After delivering the message, he left immediately.

Wei Xiaobao did not who or what [堯舜禹湯] were and he always said [鳥生魚湯] instead of [堯舜禹湯]. He thought it must be some fish soup emperors love to drink. Hence, '鬼使神差饮鱼汤'

I didn't read Flying Fox but know a little bit about Cheng Ling Su

古月无心映海棠 - from Jin Yong Chuan Xie Juan game, Hu Fei brought a plant called 海棠 to Cheng Ling Su to make antidote for Miao Ren Feng

素衣怎比紫霞娇 - Cheng is not a pretty girl but Yuan Zhi Yi is gorgeous. HF loves Yuan

弱质巧刃中山狼 - ??

为兄舍命暗自伤。- HF was poisoned and she transfered the poison to her own body. She died for HF.

Got to go. The others explain later.

I think that means the person is physically weak, but is still able to kill a wolf (ie. someone stronger and more dangerous). Cheng Lingsu is not physically strong, but she is able to kill people who are stronger than her because she is very well-versed in poison.
