It is not 儿, as in 过儿, (Guo'er) or the pet name for Yang Guo.
The "E" in Gongsun Lu E is part of her given name, 公孙绿萼.
The same goes for the "E" in Ke Zhen E, which is actually 柯镇恶.
As you can see, the two "E"s above are different from the suffix "er".

Besides, fishing season opens on Monday and my time spent fishing will be guilt free if I stay well ahead.
