NEWS: Big Finish: In a recent interview, Steven Ma Jun-Wai declared that he and Sonija Kwok Sin-Lei were once in a relationship. When told about the declaration, Sonija Kwok denied ever dating Ma. In response, Ma insisted that he was telling the truth. At a charity event the night before last, Kwok was hounded by reporters once again about her alleged past relationship with Ma (right). Tired of dealing with the issue, Kwok blasted Ma, suggested he was using her for publicity and forcefully denied ever being in a relationship with him. Kwok: "I've already commented on this. I don't want to speculate on why this person (Ma) keeps insisting on what he is insisting. I don't want to say any more. I have my own life. His problems are none of my business. I hope he does not use my name again. I tried my best to stay on good terms with him but I never would have guessed that he would say something like that to protect his own reputation. I'm very disappointed."

Asked if this means she and Ma were no longer friends, Kwok replied: "This matter has taught me quite clearly that I have to be careful when choosing my friends."

When asked if she had ever done anything that might give Ma the wrong impression, Kwok answered: "Before, he was unhappy so I spent some time talking to him and listening to his troubles. I never thought that he would treat it as if we were boyfriend-girlfriend. All I did was work with him for three months on a television series, if that can be considered as three months of dating, then something is seriously wrong."

As they are both employees of TVB, Kwok was asked what she would do if she and Ma were cast in the same project. Kwok: "I will respect whatever the company decides."

Kwok is currently dating Deric Wan Siu-Lun. Contacted for a reply, Ma did not return reporters' telephone calls.

Once again, Steven doesn't need to use fat lips for publicity. Sonia is not like a famous or popular actress. If Steven wanted attention, he could've use Flora, Jessica or Kenix. They are 10x more famous and prettier than her. Besides if Steven really use her for publicity, she should be thankful because she got more famous because of that.

hahaha Sonjia is such a funny person!! Who in the world would use Sonjia for publicity?? Hhehehe even if Steven did use her ( ) haah how much more publicity can he gain???

Suppose. Do we pronounce it Sonia or Sonija because Vivian Sum and Chan Bak Cheung called her Sonia while they were presenting that 35th anniversary celebration. Once again, she put up a poor performance even at presenting. Don't know how she won Miss HK...were they really that desperate???

umm WHEN did you guys started disliking her? just curious...

I've started disliking her ever since I saw her during the ms HK pageant....some how I knew that she's the "MS ALL THAT" in the group. She had that kind of attitude that I hate. The hosts however, described it as being confident, IMO she was snobby and WAY over confident....and when I saw her on ASTP, that's when I felt like punching her in the face.......

I think i started disliking her from A step from the Past; I think that was the first time she acted.

Arg...her acting was horrible; I knew she was a newbie, so I gave her another chance, but arghhhh...still she hasn't been able to improve her acting skills yet.
