He does have a big nose! How much it matters to you is subjective, but you can't deny he has a huge nose.

yea, i'm sorry about that, but i needed to have some action in it. A lot of Federer photos aren't all that flattering on close up because they're either of him smiling dorkily, or they're of him playing, and you know, they don't always look fab when they play, although Federer's facial expressions are the nicest of the players i've seen on slow motion replay

i gotta agree wif dat, federer makes things look so easy, dat when he hit a ball his face dont change, whereas other players they either have the wide-eye look, or cringe, or look stressed. actually i hate watchin the women's replay for the same reason (yes im shallow too, but im not the only one here cough*sparky*cough)

To bring this to TENNIS, who are some players that you really liked/disliked previously but over the years have grown to like more/less?

For me, the obvious one is RAFAEL NADAL. The first time i watched him play he was 17, definitely not as into showing off his muscle, a fighter, wore normal clothing etc. I liked him back then, but over the years, i've come to dislike him more and more... not sure why (maybe coz he beat Federer last year at French), but it's probably because the personality he exhibits has changed.

Another player is ANDY RODDICK. I never liked him when he first jumped to no. 1, but he really earnt my respect in the 5 set match he played in the Australian Open, which he won, 21-19 in the fifth set- a very impressive scoreline.


Another question: Which tennis NICKNAMES do you like and which ones do you dislike?

For example, i'm not a big fan of "RAFA" as a nickname, or "GONZO".

I also don't like "ROGER" even though it's not a nickname, just for information sake. BUT, i have to say that i'm not a huge fan of "FED EXPRESS", although it's not bad compared to the two i listed before.

Now the nickname i like the best happens to be "A ROD" which i think is clever and catchy.

1. Initially I disliked Andre Agassi since he is a middle-aged bald-man , but later on, his gentlemanly style in competions and the touched love between him and his wife, Steffi Graf, changed my mind. He became one of my most favorite tennis player. Unfortunately, he stopped playing tennis.
