well federer slaughtered him at the Aus open, so i hope Djokavic isn't hoping for too much. I know he did beat federer recently, but it wasn't at a grand slam and we all know that federe plays better at grand slams

I wouldn't sell Novak Djokavic short, he did beat Roddick, Nadal, and Federer in the same week in Montreal a month ago....................... and they were all seeded #3, 2, and 1 respectively.

But I do agree Federer is looking real sharp at the U.S. Open.

Well Chestnut, you don't have to change your signature line (although I think you should have changed it after Federer lost in Canada).

Federer won 3 straight sets, but the first two could have easily gone the other way. Still, it was a very entertaining match with some very good rallies, especially in the second set.

Fed did win. 7-6 7-6 and forgot the last one. Djokovic had an ager problem, slamming that racket and water bottle. It'll be one heck of a time for the news. Long play Fed!!! I'd got to say though, that guy is pretty stylish...tuxedo like pants black Nike shirt, headband and shoes. Fed kept chasing Djok for the points. Love the two tie breakers in the first 2 sets.
