Congrats to DelPot. He deserves every bit of the title as he beat both Nadal & Fed for it. Hopefully he can win many more GS in the future, but for now Federer is still the greatest ever for this decade (although for me he is the GOAT ). Better luck next time, Fed! At least you didn't let DelPot whooped your a$$ like he did to Nadal

Once again, congrats to DelPot & Clijsters!

Haha berry can't help herself but deliver a parting shot. It's good to see Fed losing his cool in the match

Delpot looks good for more GS titles though.

Congrats to Del Potro! It's great to see someone other than Federer win at the US Open.

he lost his cool for a right reason. the challenge calls are bs.....they should just take this new rule away.

Hahahaha, keep laughing you Nadal fans Fed might be lost this time, but he will bounce back again next year. I admit he's not at his best anymore, but he's still way better than a lot of players out there. He will comeback next year with a new weapon to help his game. Nadal on the other hand, will keep struggling with his old injuries as well as the new one.

I actually only followed 1st-3rd set seriously, after that I had to go to going away party for my friend, so I was distracted. I saw on 4th or 5th set that both Fed & DelPot was complaining to the chair umpire....I was kinda hoping they would get into a fight Too bad that didn't happen.

Wuxia FTW : I'm not aware of the actual rule about challenging. I read it has to be done quickly within seconds...but I never know the actual rule. Care to enlighten me?

    GO DEL PETRO!!
yeah, i felt guilty for hoping that del potro would win the semis to meet federer since nadal was just not playing his usual game, hardcourt or not. now what i'd like to see is the two of them (nadal + del potro) in the FO final next year. that'd be some magic.

ppl forget so easily how nadal completely destroyed federer in FO 08 [6–1, 6–3, 6–0]. give the guy a break. when you win a match, ppl say you will win all, but when you lose a match, ppl say you're doomed forever

Yay for Justine! I'm very pleased that she's coming back, now that Kim's also back on the tour. Hopefully the women's game gets the zing it needs.

It's funny how the Belgians retired and then made come back so close with each other. Next maybe we'll heard about Steffi Graf is making a come back too

With Clijsters and Henin back and Sharapova's improving bit by bit, women tennis should be interesting again....and hopefully the young blood can keep growing...
