Any such fight scenes?

Is there any FAIR fight in Jin Yong's universe, where 2 fighters are known to be on par with each other, but one defeated another, and we actually see how it happened? OK, the only one I can think of now is Qiu Qianren vs Golden Wheel Monk, but we don't know the details of that one.

East Heretic Wong Yerk See vs. Chow Bak Tung on Peach Blossom Island. Chow Bak Tung was quite nearly a Great himself by that time, but for some reason, Wong Yerk See whipped him good in that first LOCH fight between them.

How are you doing in the military?

Still coping fine. My company is still quite slack. But my sergeant managed to 'steal' my rifle once so I almost got myself into a lot of trouble.

i belive that ZBT held his own for a while during the fight. that was when mei chaofeng sneaked back onto the island and ran into HR. she saw that HYS and ZBT were pretty well matched but 'he had the better chance to win'. so probably ZBT was on the defensive alot. they probably fought for two days or so before ZBT admited defeat.

but arent you asking for a fair fight, ie both are on par with eachother? then if one guy just beats the other "fairly", he is better and they are not on par, this is how almost every fight is.

Hu and Miao is the only one I can think of where neither is better than the other, victory is only achieved by the poisoning incident

2 Fighters may be on par with each other, but they would not be exactly on the identical level. For example, out of some predetermined scale, one fighter may score 99% while the other 100%. The difference is small so they would be on par with each other. But if the fight lasts long enough, the 100% fighter might win.
