Bao Hua said, "Yes, that's true. I wonder how Mr. Szema is doing..." Her voice trailed off as she blushed once again.

Ah Jiang tried not to look at Bao Hua's rosy cheeks and asked, "How should we secure this place? Can we hold out against those thugs?"

Kong Long Zi said, "We'll have to set up defences and traps to keep those thugs at bay. Xiao Sheng, you should get yourself out of this before you get involved in this mess."

Xiao Sheng said, "No, I want to stay. I'm not a little girl anymore. I can help."

Kong Long Zi said, "Alright. Guys, follow me."

He marched off to the kitchen and took off a board from the floor. The three of them had just caught up with him and found themselves peering into a large hole. Kong Long Zi lit a torch and jumped down, hitting the ground below lightly. It was a cellar.

He then rapidly passed some wooden crates up to Ah Jiang who found them incredibly heavy because of his lack of good internal energy. Finally he leaped out of the hole and boarded it up again.

Kong Long Zi opened the boxes in a very workmanlike manner and handed out the contents to the trio wordlessly. They examined the strange items and decided that they were some sort of traps.

He then gave them a chart and told the ladies to lay the traps according to the chart while he instructed Ah Jiang to board up all the broken walls and roof as well as to clear away all the broken furniture.

He then ran off and arranged the tables and stools in a maze according to the 5 elements. Finally everything was in place and the four looked at their preparations proudly. Their defences allowed them to do business conveniently and yet they could turn it into a fortress quickly if it were threatened.
Seems like Icyfox didn't read my part of the story.
I already "Meanwhile at the inn.." and he "Meanwhile at the inn.." again.
Ah Jiang and Bao Hua were also supposed to be in their room. Now, I have to adjust my part to fit his.

To Icyfox. Although my input is only a little, please don't skip it and pretend it wasn't there lah.

Sorry. We did this almost at the same time.

I'll try to edit it to fit your edited version.

Edit : I edited the post. It continues from your post rather smoothly now.

    Just a minor issue...

I believe no one in Wuxia fiction has reached Level 10 in internal power, which is probably something like 9 Yin + 9 Yang combined. Even Master Dugu himself did not reach that level.

    Apart from that...

So will you be playing the Japanese character in the story?

You going to ask him to play the villain, that would be fun. Haha. But the big baddie of this character is a Korean, not Jap.

Continuing the scene at the inn...

Kong Long Zi then climbed to the roof and took down a sturdy bow and a quiver of arrows from the attic and handed them over to Ah Jiang.

He said, "You know how to shoot, right?"

Ah Jiang said, "Er I think so."

Just then, Li Xiao Sheng who was in the sentry post on the second floor shouted down, "Uncle, I see some yellow-dressed men headed this way!"

Ah Jiang and Bao Hua exclaimed together, "So fast?"

A burly man with a broadsword slung at his waist swaggered towards the main door. His thick moustache made him look like a fierce tiger and he was apparently the leader of the group.

Kong Long Zi jumped over the counter...

(Note to anyone playing for me : If 'Kong Long Zi' is too troublesome to type, you can just abbreviate it to 'KLZ'.)

Kong Long Zi asked, "How may I help you, sir?"

The man replied in a strange accent, "Where is the manual?"

Kong Long Zi looked perplexed. "What manual?"

The man roared, "You know what I'm talking about! Hand it over now!"

Kong Long Zi looked around and saw about 15 men gathered in front of the inn. He wondered how Szema Mok's party was doing but decided that he didn't have the time for that now.

He said, "If you're not going to tell me then I'm not going to continue talking to you." He turned around and strolled back to the counter.

    The man yelled, "Charge!"

All the men outside immediately dashed forward and tried to force their way in.

Kong Long Zi shouted, "Bao Hua, now!"

She jammed down a lever and some heavy logs rolled off the second floor and slammed onto the leading 5 men. The logs smashed onto 3 of the men and pinned them underneath but the leader and another man managed to leap away in time.

Kong Long Zi shouted, "Xiao Sheng, now!"

Xiao Sheng gave a brisk tug at a lanyard and several mines exploded around the compound, knocking out some of the men. The explosions were immediately followed by a wave of darts which flew straight at the men, hitting their accupoints and immobilizing them.

The remainder managed to evade the traps and dashed into the inn. Kong Long Zi yelled, "Bao Hua, Xiao Sheng, Hold the line! Ah Jiang, fire at will!"

The ladies fought with the aid of the table-maze and the flying arrows and were able to hold the men down without much trouble. The leader of the gang had by now drawn his weapon and was slashing his weapon at Kong Long Zi.

Kong Long Zi felt that he was not a very strong opponent and just used some basic techniques to avoid the broadsword. He leapt up and down the tables and kept himself at a safe distance with his superior qing gong. The man could not catch up with him and was getting very frustrated, wildly smashing the tables.

Suddenly Kong Long Zi heard an arrow whizzing towards him and he instinctively ducked. The arrow flew past him and hit the wall. He turned and saw Ah Jiang's stunned face.

He shouted, "Hey! Watch what you're doing!"

Ah Jiang said, "Oops! Sorry! Watch out!"

Kong Long Zi darted aside just in time to avoid the man's blade and also managed to twist his arm, forcing him to drop the blade. Kong Long Zi launched a palm strike and hit the man's shoulder, sealing his accupoint and immobilizing him.

(To TommyH : Szema Mok is a bit too overpowered that it sounds kind of exaggerated. Please try to tone him down a little.)

I like the exagerated Szema Mok. It's fun seeing the rest of the characters so awed by his power and handsomeness.

Kong Long Zi then launched himself towards another group of yellow thugs and quickly palmed them on the head, causing death. He then looked around and realized that most of the men were dead or unconcious so he clapped his hand and smiled. "Tie them up!"

    Meanwhile at Szema's Group...

Wang Zhi Min shouted, "Who's that?"

Nobody saw who it was, it was as if the sword was pierced into the chest of the injured escort at light speed"

Li Shen Si saw that the escort was dead, and sighed, "What am I to do? What happened to Brother Wu?"

Siu Xiang exclaimed, "There's words on the sword!"

Szema Mok walked over and examined, "There's no poison on the sword, but those words, "Return me the manual!""还我秘籍!"

Wang Zhi Min said, "Such great speed in executing the sword, that Korean guy is dangerous."

Li Shen Si, "No use, he's already ran quite far. He's incredibly strong. Perhaps only if the Sweeper Monk is still on the world, would we saw the Korean guy being defeated."

Wang Zhi Min said, "Let's just bury the bodies and get out of the woods fast."

Li Shen Si said, "There's an office of the escort agency nearby, we could visit there after burying.
The group then spend sometime burying the dead and observing silence for the departed.

"I think I may have finally found a truly worthy opponent in that Korean guy." Thought Szema Mok with a smile on his face.

"With such speed, only Kong Long Zi may match him in terms of Qing Gong. Even the Green Bat King of the once Ming Cult may not be on par with him... Truly a Formidable foe..." Thought Zhi Min with his head bowed down.

"Might not be long before I get some exercise with my two swords... Its been a while..." Thought Li Shen Si witha smirk on his face.

Szema dashed up the short flight of stairs and entered the opened doors. The others followed him closely. They entered a small front yard, whom contained large amounts of weapon racks and space to train. Mok continued to walk forward until he reached the doorway leading into the main room of the house. He knocked three times.

    The doors flung open...

    At the inn...
Da Bao worried about the company who went out wondering when everyone was going to come back. She was getting hungry and was going to go downstairs for something to eat, then she turned to Ah Jiang.
"Do you want anything to eat? I'm going downstairs for a bit, do you need anything?"

Can we still add new characters?

Name: Unknown - known by peers as nameless one

    Gender: Male

Appearance: Masked face, 170cm tall, medium build, black hair.

Age: Appear to be in 20s based on movements and vitality, no one know for sure

Personality: Dark, secretive, solitary (works alone) - hence little is know about his character, thought to be chivalrous but no one has actually seen him perform any heroic acts.

Attire: Long hair tired to the back, well dressed, but mostly seen in colours of black, grey and white.

Items: Carries a metal flask and a metal flute.

Martial Arts Style/Techniques: Largely unknown. Believed to be self invented. Few have seen him fight. Those who have seen him only witnessed him using a few palm strokes which immediately overpowers his opponents.

Internal Energy: Unknown, thought to be proficient given the fierceness and controlled palm strikes

Lightness Kungfu: No one has seen him utilise any lightness kungfu, but commoners reported that he disappears in front their eyes.

Other Info: Outlawed, constantly hunted (unsuccessfully) by the govenment officials. Reason undisclosed by the officials. Very little else known about him including family history and social history.

Will learn more as he is introduced and the story progresses.

Even though you didn't tell "too" much information about him, you still told us a lot. At least we know he's quite strong . Yes, anyone could still make characters...just don't make them bust right into the story...we already have too much characters.
