Is that from a non-Jin yong adaption? No WCY or YD? How come H7G is in the middle even though the title suggests the book focuses on East and West? Who end up being the most powerful? And is the decendent of Murong female or male who chopped off their precious?

You can say it's a spin-off of LOCH. It's by that very arty Wong Ka Wai. I find this movie too lethargic and depression. This first time I saw it, I was bored to tears by it. I was able to appreciate it the better on the 2nd viewing but still not my cup of tea.

Wow! I've never watched DSGD1982 but Idy Chan and Kent Tong really make a good Wang Yu Yan and Duan Yu. Totally beats Carmen Lee, LYF, Benny Chan and Jimmy Lin.

This costume and hairstyle certain looks better than the one in the Damien Lau's version of Luk Siu Fung. Now, this look can fight with Cheung Chi Hiu's Fa Moon Lau.
