    May I ask? Who's Shan4 (閃?) Zheng (?) and in what novel does he appear?

    That's the bloke who brought his sons to that meeting where they were trying to oust Qiao Feng in DGSD. Zhao Qian Sun was making fun of him throughout because he hated that guy's nickname - "Iron Faced Impartial Judge" or some such nonsense. Zhao felt the guy was a self-righteous hypocrite.

    Thank you Senior Master. IIRC, Shan Zheng doesn't appear in DGSD 1998 and 2003. I've some times tried to struggle to read the original of DGSD but had to give up after just 2 or 3 screen pages since Jin Yong's words and sentences are too complicated for me, and Duan Yu is so annoying as well.

    He does, however, appear in DGSD 1982. And you have not lived until you've seen DGSD 1982!

    He did appear in 2003 I think. Acted by that fugly middle age man with the beard - he was in recent LOCH as the younger martial brother of sha tong tian and the jian pact guy who tried to take over Hua Shan's leadership (XAJH) (both with Li Ya Peng).

    Yeah, I know, that's the adaptation in which SWORD GOD Zhuo Bufan appears!!!! I think I'll have to watch this series in the forthcoming time.

    Good grief, my memory fooled me, well, perhaps since hardly do I pay attention to the minor characters, except SWORD GOD!
