It said SMG is back on Grudge 2 re-make for a lil while but didnn't that women kill her off right at the end in the hospital on Grudge re-make I remember 1 of the Japanese man said "who ever enter that house can't avoid the curse" sumthin lyke dat. So is SMG charc dead or not?

I think the director let the viewers to decide in their own mind if she was killed off or not at the end of the first one. But since there is a second one coming out, she somehow survived the curse long enough for a sequel.

The original grudge (Ju: On) is very scary...the american re-make was AWFUL...how could anyone get scared in that movie? It was just stupid! I hope this one won't be SO bad...and I like Edison Chen so I'll watch it anyway.

All the people of color get killed off eventually except for Harold and Kumar, but that's another story.

Take for example, BLADE 2...Donnie Yen's character Snowman gets killed by his comrade (who's white) from behind. Another example is in CHAIN REACTION, where they have the three scientists gathered in one room towards the end of the movie. Well, the director had to kill someone, and of all the people there he shot the Asian guy.

Haha, unless it's a Jackie Chan movie...then you know the black guy and the Asian guy will survive in the end.
