My character (Zhong Yueh) also won't be competing, although he may try to investigate the background about the tatoo and the villain's plot. Any character/player that has the same motivation during the conference (or have a great idea about how the mystery should progress) is more than welcome to join up / control him.

I suppose not with the ambition of being the Wulin leader. But a young Yang Guo inadvertently competed in the Heroes Conference against Da Er Ba and Jin Lun Fa Wang. So something similar can happen.

I think then, in that case, your characters can fight in support of someone else to be wulin leader. I think most of our characters are too young to have the support of the wulin ppl even if you have the best martial arts.

So who do you want to support? Are we going to introduce more evil characters?

I think we can make up some neutral people you can support:

Beggar clan leader
Shaolin abbot (but would he care to be wulin leader?)
Wudang (I am thinking Yu leader's disciple, the one who has been introduced, and the wudang young fighters can support him)
Ermei (ZZR's disciple?)
The head of house of a large powerful martial arts family.
A solitary xiake.

Fighting style can be the person vying for the position and his two representatives vs their respective opponents (best out of three) then winner move on to fight the winners of next match.

It's up to you guys to decide what you want.

isn't it obvious that kidd's character is more apt to be your student? there's absolutely no competition there as she has the perfect CV. all i can offer your character is an interesting life... but no kidnapping...i promise! i am willing to be your second disciple but i will not compete for the position if you only accept 1 student...just not a strong enough candidate for that kind of expectation...i already have a game plan set up. if you accept, i'll PM you the plan.

Your's do, but Kidd's one seems quite mellow, I mean her martial arts is similar to a extremely mellow Duan Yu.

yittz- yes, my character's personality is strong in the sense that she likes to keep her thoughts to herself, mistrusts everyone (understandably so), and is infrequently temperamental and extremely passionate. but she's not one to take advantage of meeker characters and boss them around...she is to some degree surprisingly sympathetic. i'll pm you now so you can see the circumstances i have in mind when dr shui becomes YYY's teacher.

My character is more the peaceful type. After all, she's generous and friendly. And as stated in her profile, her parents are those humble generous kind of people who likes to do charity. So, the whole family are a pretty easygoing bunch. But she's no pushover. She will stand her ground when her principles are involved. I think she can be considered having as strong personality since she will stand her ground when it's something against her principle. She's just not hot-tempered.

Actually, I modeled my character after Hua Man Lou (that very zen blind dude from Lu Xiao Feng ). She's not 100% like him, but similar. She's not up to his level yet in zenness and obviously doesn't throw out as much oneliners (I'm no Master Gu Long).

What do u mean by my martial arts is similar to a extremely mellow Duan Yu? What other martial arts Duan Yu knew that make him less mellow than my character's martial art?

why isn't anyone starting the hero's conference? i for sure can't because i don't know how to describe how epic this will be...my pathetic attempt will be like a tvb series where there are 20 people observing the scene instead of hundreds...

and yes, we want rapists, thieves, and murderers to enter the competition as their greed and ego are much greater than the humble and worthy contestants.
