please excuse my ignorance but can someone kindly provide the proper names for the various sects sword formation? or just techniques? as i will have to incorporate them if not then you will have to deal with my lousy attempt at labeling these formations...not to threaten you guys.

hmm I think I should add info to each technique my character has maybe like for e.g I think I will make the cloud dispersing palms a powerful palm wind force with great transference of qi...

there are too many powerful characters for my YYY...seems like the only person i can defeat are the girlly girls and the physician...ah or i may not even be able to defeat them...that's it! i already have a plan to make her more powerful....

LOL... relax... In most JY novels, these are the people that end up learning the most powerful skills.. and saving the day...

LOL... relax... In most JY novels, these are the people that end up learning the most powerful skills.. and saving the day...

nope...i don't want my character to be the most powerful...just strong enough to merit justification for seeking vengeance independent of any sect's help...i want her neutrality as a female pugilist to be what separates her from the other ladies in the fic...unfortunately, what i have plan for her so far has linked her to both forces...hint hint.

btw, strife, i'm going to log out soon but if you're editting your post, i will be sure to replace the current post in the unabridge thread with your editted version if i don't do it tonight then tomorrow.

More characters can introduce in heroes meeting, no more for the time being, kinda strange to have everyone all suddenly meet up.

Will the Hero's conference be anything like ROCH's? Where the Badies shows up? Or like XAJH where mayhem breaks out? I'm asking as I already have a plot for my character and I hope no one plays "GOD" with it during that time....

I propose that the current setting is Beijing, or northern capital. It was previously the capital of Jin dynasty. Later 1420, Ming shifted its capital of Hang Zhou there as well. In the story 1390-1400, Beijing is still recovering after the ravages of Mongolia, it is termed Beiping (i think) meaning Northern peace. It makes sense to have it there for its symbolic significance (especially in relation to the involvement of ZWJ in this) and for catering purposes - a small town isn't going supply food and housing to so many jianghu visitors.

I think we need to discuss the event here b4 anyone posts about it, so we don't screw up others ppl's plans.

The fights should either be knockout or che-lun style (continuous challenges to the winner on stage). The two posters whose characters are involved in the fights should agree on the outcome b4 one posts the actual fight.

I actually prefer that the winner, ie next Wulin leader isn't one of ours, ie should be a neutral player like Shaolin abbot etc.
