If ROCH06 is accurate to the book then the first disciple of the Golden Wheel Monk Fa Wang is pretty fat. I mean REALLY fat. And his other disciple is pretty skinny.

HAHA, in the book, Da Er Ba is actually really skinny. Making Da Er Ba hugely fat, along with making Ma Guangzuo a midget (when he's supposed to be a huge, muscular guy), are the two biggest changes they made.
havent come up with a good one yet..

Hahaha! Wow! Funny! IS Ma Guangzuo the guy who was invited to the Mongolian dude's camp for a meeting? It was the one Yeung Gor was at.

Ma Guangzuo is the midget who's part of the Jinlun, Nimoxing, yin kexi, etc mongolian crowd. you cant miss him

in the book he was a huge guy... the midget does play his character to perfection though, totally like the book

Ohh I know. He appears in Episode 15 or 16 (forgot!). Why did ZJZ change it though? Why couldn't he keep it the way the book had it...did it serve any purpose?

i dont know... at first i was like WTF??? But now i realize thats just a fairly useless external change; the core of Ma Guangzuo is totally retained

If you're referring to ROCH06 the GWM isn't really fat but isn't skinny.

Is there any fat (i mean really fat!) main characters in JY novels? Or are they all either skinny or macho?

What about Han Baoju, one of the Jiangnan Seven Freaks? Wasn't he supposed to be really short and fat?
