they should just use the tian wei fei xian cast in this series also... bobby would make a better looking Yang Kang at least... Hu Ge's hair makes him look like he's tarzan.... should just have his hair style from CP/CHinese Ghost Story/or the hair from the New Yang saga... mei chou fong... she looks hot but her light skin and the black mascara thingy around her eyes looks awkward... and ou yang kei looks gay.... the guy who played Yuan Bao in tian wei fei xian would at least make a better impression.

wow...i'm not sure who kathy chow is but she is very beautiful!!! she looks to have more charisma than the other actresses! would have love to see her as zzr! and between her and gyy, there are some resemblances. she's beautiful!

Ariel Lin looks pretty cute and I like her outfits alot. Yes its simple but very nice and appropriate, not to mention, soothing on the eyes imo.

I dont really find the actress for Hua Zheng pretty or maybe it's because of the outfit? The actress for HZ in LOCH'03 had lovely mongolian outfits.

MCF looks like a mixed between some character from "The Village" and "The Ring". Yang Liping is still the most gorgeous and haunting MCF imo.

And yes, Kathy Chow is still gorgeous after all these years, she's probably the best-looking Bao Xiruo thought i like the actress for BXR in LOCH'03 as well, she had a very soft and demure aura about her.

Ariel looks good here! Although her boots look a bit like Uggs but I would not hold that against her. That picture with her and Hu Ge behind his cape is a bit naughty...I like how they're teasing us with these photos.

Everyone looks in character; I can't find cause to complain.

Wow Kathy Chow back again! IMO she is the best looking BXR ever. Plus, she is a great actress, very versatile.

hurm, okies.I didn't want to watch this version because of Hu ge as Guo Jing and Ariel lin especially as HR. But the photos did a favor. I'm a little moved to watch this version now.

thanks for the pix...they seem to be having a lot of fun goofing around. how lovely! am more interested in this series now though the girl acting as the mongolian princess isn't so good looking. however, mnc is quite nice (shui ling still rules imo). ariel is cute but i'll have to wait and watch her on screen...still not liking the fact that she is hr but it could have been much worse. and i willing to give her a chance...gosh, why does every single director seem to underestimate hr's beauty when picking an actress. it's clearly stated in the novel that gj was stunned when he first saw her as a girl because he thought she was a fairy but oh well...i guess they need an actress who can act to play this role instead of just a vase.

it's the JY wave again, lol, this crap happen in the 1995 in TVB and crap load of actor/actress got popular. now it's going to china. to tell the truth, the china production are much more better in term of technology, and the other thing is they cast young people (even for old roles) and that's really the biting point. they've finally found out that normal people don't like to watch old folks on TV

i spoke too soon... the hair styles of hu ge looks better now then that wavy hair.... hope this is his hair style throughout the series... but the girl who play mcf is still looking weird...but hu ge and ariel as well as rest of cast looks good... still should 've use someone else as yang kang..but lets see where this takes us.

Word to the wise... keep your expectation low as not to create too much hype/excitement. I've learned my lesson well (thanks ROCH06 ). Pictures can paint a totally different picture than the series. I'm not going to do much praising until the actual product comes out. That is IF I decide to watch. Will have to read what other viewers think first before I dare to venture in. But so far I have not been repulsed by the clothing and hair yet. Not too impressed, but given how low the standards for series are nowadays, that is saying a lot .

I will probably get a lot of objections, but IMO I actually loved ROCH 06 except for the editing. Look every series especially remake as its flaws. You just see which one outweighs the other. Yes ROCH was hyped but I still enjoyed every bit of it. Each remake has something unique about it. Probably because of the better special effects and HXM actually using his left arm --I prefer this remake.


Now for LOCH 03, I never liked it. It was rather boring throughout. I did not enjoy LYP's GJ--a little old looking and boring. HR was good. Now, this GJ looks weird to me but Ariel is passable.

And I do agree with you, according to the novel, HR was beautiful, innocent, and playful I will let GJ pass. But the mongolian princess HZ isn't that of a looker IMO.
