Any news when will the filming be finished ?? I heard arounn Feb 2007 ??
I was under the impression that Hu Ge was injured recently so filming was delayed and still uncertain.

Oh yes, I heard about the car accident ( happened around Sept 2006 ? ) but It's like about 4 months ago by now. And yes he was injured, but isn't he OK now ??
Why are they still delaying the film ?? Or maybe Hu Ge still need more time to be healed ?? It's too bad

we should be patient because the poor guy needs to rest. I don't care about the serie, i only care about his health. Whenever he is ok, than he will film.

The injuries were quite serious from what I understand. He even had to get surgery on his right eye. I agree, he needs to rest and recover... his health is more important than any film.;p
Besides, Ariel is supposed to film ISWAK 2 first so I don't think filming of LOCH will resume for awhile, which is good anyway, more rest and recovery time for Hu Ge.

I'm looking forward to this but doesn't it feel a bit soon to be making a remake already? The last one was just in 2003, I thought at least roughly a decade wait would and should ensue before making another one.

yeah it's way too soon to make a remake why can't they use their money to produce a new story instead

I agree!! As much as I like Hu Ge and Ariel, can't they make an all new series or remake a novel that hasn't been remade for a long time??? I guess they are really running out of stories...I am definately not going to fork out the dough to watch this remake since I am SICK of them....

Trinie, I agree with you that there are too many adaptations of Jin Yong novels. But my weakness is Hu Ge, and from what I've seen of the production pictures and the trailer, I'm still very excited to see how Hu Ge will breathe life into the role of Kwok Jing. It's a tall order but I think he can do it

Anyway, here are preview pics for LOCH 2007 fans! Enjoy ~

    *drools*

    That smile! *swoons*

    "Ready for bloodshed, Sir!"

Hu Ge is so cool in this picture!

Is that a smirk on Ariel's face?

Hu Ge is too handsome to play Guo Jing. Guo Jing is not a handsome man. I think Li Ya Peng is more Guo Jing material than Hu Ge, but lets just see if he can play out the straightforward, stupid young man

Yup it is......her name is Liu Shi Shi. Lots of ppl say she looks like Liu Yi Fei, but I think Liu Shi Shi is prettier.

I hope the real series dissaprove my theory. So far, I think Ariel just looks like a cute HR... not a smart one.

well judging by the pictures and trailer the series looks nice just hope the fighting scenes and the dragon subdueing palm looks cool as in the tvb version or the 03 version. hope they elaborate more on the dragon palms showing the other 17 techniques and stuff.

i think i've changed my mind actually. Although i don't like the casting of Ariel as HR (like sugar said, cute not smart), the costumes look good, there's no TERRIBLE miscasting, the special effects don't look great, but it's in early stages, and i really like the choices for BXR and OYK

Actually, the other reason i might watch this is because i don't feel like watching DOMD or Flying Fox.

Is it me or is the director trying to copy ZJZ's style? The scenes look alot like that of LOCH'02..or at least the Mongolia ones.
