As for OKK being genuinely lovesick over HR, I almost laughed out loud when I heard this. Why must everything be about love? Why must every evil villian who happens to be young and good looking automatically become a "misunderstood" individual whose redemption lies in the awesome and all-emcompassing power of luuuurve? All this emphasis on the characters' love lives and the creation/expansion of love triangles leads me to believe that the script was actually written by teenaged girl fanfiction writers.

i think most people would have expected this based on the director and the choice of lead actors, but i think it's a good thing they haven't done too much of a repeat of LOCH 02, although i don't want them blasting silly pop music during the show, which could well happen.

That's how I felt and what I did when I watched the '82 version. There is so much emphasis on her and so much crying.

I have not completely ruled out this latest version of LOCH, will watch a couple of episodes to see how it goes. OYK looks quite good , probably the best if we can simply judge by the trailers although it's really to say right now.

I think I love the Lau Dan's portrayal of North Begger ('82 version) too much as well as his chemistry with Barbara. Don't really like this latest version of North Beggar...hopefully Sun Xing's acting will change my mind later.

And absolutely in agreement when it comes to Ariel's fighting scenes. I hope we have seen the worst in the trailers Looks wise, Ariel is definitely not my choice of Wong Yung but so is Zhou Xun yet after watching the show, Zhou Xun has convinced me that she has done a fairly good job despite her voice and looks. Athena is pretty but her acting is only average. To me, Barbara is still the best. Now we just have to wait to see how Ariel does in her role.

No feelings about He Ge in this version so far, seems quite alright although what's with the eagle shooting scene maybe they are trying to emphasize Kwok Jing's ability as an archer and rider? But I believe He Ge will do a better job as Kwok Jing than Li Ya Peng (have never really pay attention to Li Ya Peng except LOCH and it has been....a shocking discovery). Love Felix Wong's Kwok Jing most.

Also, I guess u guys were right about Liu Shi Shi...pretty, but really bad acting. Actually....her "NI BU NENG REN ZAI ZUO FU!" was pretty unconvincing.
I have a feeling LOCH 03 will stay as my fav LOCH....

Actor Li Jie meet Lin Yi Chen on the set of LOCH forgot his lines

New edition "LOCH" had been shooting for almost half a year, in the play Li Jie was portraying the role of Ouyang Ke. Finally got the opportunity to act opposite Lin Yi Chen who is portraying “Huang Rong”. Finally can act with his long “admired actress”, having read innumerable people, Li Jie unexpectedly became turned helpless, totally forgot his lines.

In the original play, there is a scene between Ouyang Ke and Huang Rong. Huang Rong was secretly pretending to be a princess to deceive Ouyang Ke but he saw it through. Rong Er who is by nature a smart but weird girl mischievously proposed to make a bet with Ouyang Ke. She said if she lost the bet then she will marry him else he will have to become a monk. This scene is meant to be relaxed with a tinge of romance. For someone like Li Jie, Lin Yi Chen who belongs to the rank of "senior actor/actress", it should be very easy to complete the take.

However, at the site of filming, for no known reason, Li Jie keep forgetting his lines, always looked innocently @Lin Yi Chen but just cant say anything. Finally, even the pretty lady Lin Yichen also start to panic, originally well memorized lines were also affected by Li Jie performance that she keeps saying incorrectly repeatedly. One simple act, only managed to finish after more than 10 re-takes.

After the work had ended, everybody came to tease Li Jie, saying he has a liking for pretty lady Lin Yichen in & out of reel-life otherwise why would he became so nervous over such a simple scene, keep having NGs. Li Jie proclaimed innocence then revealed the true reason.

While filming LOCH, his management company had specially tailor made another major drama for him "Yangtze River" which also began shooting at the same time. Besides filming for LOCH, when the schedule permits, he also drove to the site of filming for “Yangtze River" for the work. "Yangtze River" is a military theme soap opera, and Li Jie is acting the role of a high-ranking officer. In the lines contains many military terminology, recording was also done at the same time so it command high expectations of the actor's lines. Therefore, Li Jie in filming for "Yangtze River", his brain is always uptight, all crammed with these military terminology. When he returns to the set of "LOCH", as Lin Yichen is the only actor in the cast which requires recording at the same time, when filming the scene of Ouyang Ke and Huang Rong, when the transcriber sound came into his line of sight, Li Jie brain instinctly returned to "Yangtze River" set, his brain suddenly became crammed with all the terminology. Hence, he ends up forgetting his lines. But Li Jie said, after completing the scene with Lin Yi Chen, his brain had returned to the set of LOCH. From now onwards, will not implicate pretty lady Lin Yichen to forget her lines also. As for this fault, will compensate with a meal.

hu ge become kuo cing, i guess kind interesting, because what i know kou cing is strong, big body low brain.... and huge is .....hm u know.

my personal opinion is that the series will be ok, but it will be 'taiwanese soapie meets wuxia'
