in ROCH andy lau, the one that play kuo cing was that man. the old LOCH. that guy has a lot experience with LOCH or ROCH... nice replaceman.

the one that look funny was the huang rong dad.... that guy!! oh... look very funny.

i really liked the 2003 version..i thought everyone in the 2003 version was well casted the lead to the support...but in this new version seems like the lead is the only well casted, except ariel, i can't see her as rong er (but i hope she proves me wrong, that will make me love her more)...the support cast are okay...but the series is not out yet so i hope all of them prove me wrong....i have high exptectations for this version so i hope they don't dissppoint me...

I'm kind of looking forward to his series since HuGe is in here and I'm a big fan, but then I'm not getting my expectations too high since it looks like a teen drama with the teen idols. In my mind, I'm kind of expecting something like HSDS 2003; which I didn't like at all.

Anyone have anymore updates on Yuan Hong's character? Sorry, forgot the character name...it's the character that falls for Mu Nanci...

It seems like a lot of people don't see Ariel fit as Huang Rong. Well, I admire Ariel as an actress, so hopefully she did well enough to finally garner respect from the critics.

what i likes about LOCH 2003, first is the ending song.... so great...
second, the character was fit. Like kou cing, the character (i don't who the actor name) acting was excellent. same as the one who play huang rong.

and what i hate about LOCH 2003, first the scene was bad (likes the ocean it almost like river. To me!). second, the ending was Bad (just like that!). thirth, i was hate the one who play Yang Kang. Hate!

that why i really happy about LOCH 2007/2008. cuz i want more and more of LOCH (fix the LOCH 2003). And i hope LOCH 2007/2008 could fill "my empty heart".

Fantastic trailer- and I can't believe they managed to get Anthony Wong to be Wang Yao Shi- awesome choice! I look forward to many cool scenes between him, Hu Ge, Ariel Lin and the many cool looking bad guys (I admit I'm such a big fan of the original Hong Qi Gong actor, that it'll take a LOT to make me like another one better! )

I think this version has a ton of potential- only very minor gripe is that there seems to be a little more CGI than I personally like.

What are you talking about? The water scenes in LOCH'03 took place mainly on Lake Tai (Tai Hu) which is true to the novel.
