lol ChineseChik, but GJ is supposed to be BAD looking So LYP fit the description better. I really like GG though, so I trust he'll still do a great job. Zhou Jie is a complete miscast though. He looks like an alien. And that scene where BXR died and he ran into some forest and lay on the ground and started yelling was completely retarded; he SUCKED in it, YH is going to SCHOOL him. BTW, I find ZX prettier than Yi Chen too. Love them both though. Zhou Xun was such a cute HR, I'm going to have difficulty choosing which one I like better (so far it looks like YC has the better costumes though lol)
BTW, does anyone have the fixed link for the download of the trailer? I want to download it and put it on my mp4

I thought Zhou Jie was a huge miscast, too. He totally shattered the image of the clever, handsome YK. And this adaptation definitely beats the old one in both the looks and age factors. I think the actors in this adaptation looks more age appropriate since they are younger. I think HR is only like 15 in the book. Although a good plot is important, the actors are too. I wonder if the director and producer would consider remaking ROCH if this one is a success.

well i actually liked liu yi fei. shes definately pretty enough to be xiao long nu, and although huang xiao ming is hot enough their age difference was kinda weird... but i could definately see another roch...maybe yuan hong can be yang guo!! lol

i think that zhou xun is like a more mature type of pretty, while yi chen is like cute looking, but she does look more mature in this series (imo) then in previous ones. and yeah, i think yi chen has better costumes. remember that halter thing zhou xun had paired with that really weird dress that didnt match at all? yeah....

and 2003 was a good adaptation, but the people in here are so much more good looking! i mean, come on, li ya peng versus hu ge? helloooo?! lol and zhou jie's yang kang versus yuan hong? these people are so much hotter. lol and i think that they are very talented too

Hehe, I'm with you. Li Ya Peng versus Hu Ge, Zhou Jie versus Yuan Hong . But I believe that two guys in 2008 version will do their jobs well.

Hi everyone! Lol, looks like a lot of discussion on the hotness of the leads (I hearitily concur).
As for the July date mentioned, I don't think anyone really knows when LOCH will air yet. Some of the local Chinese stations are supposed to start airing LOCH next week, but no clue when the major Chinese stations or Taiwanese station(s) are supposed to start airing it.
Haha, though I do know that Hu Ge said "Well, it's airing before or after the Olympics, because I'm watching the Olympics!" And obviously, that's true, because no one in their right mind would want/try to compete with the Olympics :P (Although *cough* I admit I'd probably watch LOCH over the Olympics...*runs away*)

You're right; that's Anthony Wong who played Hu Yi Dao and here he plays Huang Yao Shi.

Ariel looks pretty here...she looks good from certain angles.

yeah there was a loch in 2003 with li ya peng and zhou xun. theyre making another one. jin yong's novels are really things to turn into series and there are constantly remakes of them.
