XF, because he did it with such authority. Very memorable.

Does XL28Z count? Huk Juk's improved version after XF taught him it!

Sure; it's basically the same martial art, give or take ten strokes.

Actually, the damn thing that comes to mind first is the image of Felix Wong from LOCH83 doing the cheap flying dragon head CGI palm.

    It's become quite iconic.

It looked quite awesome by 1983 standards (people need to recall what the state of SFX technology was like back in 1983; at that time, LOCH '83's rendition of HL18P looked like freaking STAR WARS). Of course, it's laughably dated now, but it was a beginning, and we see its ongoing influence (albeit with MUCH better SFX technology) in more recent adaptations.

Actually, Ken, I disagree. I still think LOCH83's palm effect is the best.

For one, it is IMHO closer in effect to JY's description of a forceful palm blast compared to the later ones which blow up entire armies and creates all sort of explosions.

Second, a short blast of cheap CGI dragon heads is better than an extended sequence of entire cheap CGI dragons which curl and slow motion their way towards the enemy with the sound of buffalo farts.
