What's the difference between palm wind and palm blast? Is palm wind the force create by a palm while palm blast is releasing energy through your palm towards your enemy?

Palm wind is you could feel the wind, but palm blast you can feel the pain, not sure also.

I think the palm wind is something that knocks you down but doesn't really "hurt" you while palm blast is like sending your chi through the air and really hurting that person you're sending it towards.

well if in another theory, palm wind is more like "ling kong jing method" strike the people using air. palm blast is more like something more powerful than palm wind whereby the cause of damage will be tremendous, like 18 dragon palm for instance....

I think that's a palm attack? I just call it a regular palm.

No they are not. The wind (Feng) is the air that is pushed towards the target and surrounding areas due to the blast (Jing). It is relatively harmless, although with top fighters, it can blow away the person's breath briefly if he stands in the way. The blast is the real attacking qi force generated by the attacker.

Take XF's triple palm strikes on DCQ for example. His palm blast is the attacking qi force he generates and accumulates via three palm strikes. Before they arrived, DCQ would feel a very strong palm wind blown towards him as XF's palm blast pushes the air forwards. As Ding jumped backwards, he would still feel the palm wind (i.e had real contact with it) but the palm blast wouldn't hit him as it had not arrived.

If the palm physically hits the target then it's no different. It will still have a palm wind and a palm blast components but it's too quick (as the distance is too close) you can't tell the difference. Palm wind and palm blast are about long distance attacks.
