TVB's 1970s ROMANTIC SWORDSMAN adaptation of Gu Long's SENTIMENTAL SWORDSMAN, RUTHLESS SWORD novel ended after Lee Chum Foon defeated and killed Seung Gwoon Gum Hung. It did seem like a logical point to end the story, but there were a number of loose ends.
). What happened to Lee Chum Foon after his victory over Seung Gwoon Gum Hung? Seung Gwoon Gum Hung's organization (the Money Union) would have been in disarray without its leader, although I imagine that Ging Mo Meng probably took over and picked up where Seung Gwoon Gum Hung left off. With the deaths of both Seung Gwoon Gum Hung and Old Man Sheun, however, Lee Chum Foon was effectively the world's # 1 fighter (neither Ah Fei nor Ging Mo Meng were his match at that point). Also, there's Sheun Siu Hung. With her grandfather dead, did she continue traveling with Lee Chum Foon? Did they develop a relationship as it was strongly hinted they would towards the end of SENTIMENTAL SWORDSMAN, RUTHLESS SWORD?
). What happened to Ah Fei in the immediate aftermath of SENTIMENTAL SWORDSMAN, RUTHLESS SWORD? I know he shows up again in BORDERTOWN WANDERER, but that's many years later.
). What happened to Lam Sin Yee? Any further attempts to seduce Ah Fei or other men?
). Lung Siu Wan, Lam See Yam, and their son: what was their final fate?
). Did Lee Chum Foon ever get that martial arts manual said to be hidden in his old home?
