Mission Impossible III

Anyone watch this show yet? It's really terrific. The film emphasis is on depth rather than mere firepower or explosives. (Though there is quite an amount) Tom Cruise has done it again! The suspense is kept right till the end. Finally with a nice twist. Love "Morpheus" and Hunt's wife acting (Is she from the Desperate Housewifes? Sorry, seldom catch the show). Sad to say, Maggie is a vase.

Love the Vantican Mission, hated the Shangla Mission. 5mins into an unknown territory, made off with the artefact - success could only be luck. Guess that part is either cut to relieve our curiosity on the Impossibility. (Hey, have I caught the sight of Adrian Pang as one of the guards?)

Anyway a good show.

Sad to say, but I heard this movie lasts LESS than 2 hours and its the last installment.

No, that scene is too fast. But that voice and sihoulette surely looks like our durian king! Those watching the show can try to spot if it is really him. Its @ mission 3. If it isn't don't bite me!

The film is too action packed to be 1.5++hr. Hehe.
Its a good ending. Anyway, I don't think Tom is going for another more dangerous stunts than 3. He stops at the correct sequel, unlike Sharon Stone.

As for the rabbit's foot, hehe. Haven't you heard of "The Lucky Rabbit's Foot"? It is a superstition that by wearing a rabbit's left (or is it right I can't remember) foot, it brings the wearer lucky. (Quite gory, come to think of it) I guess in the show it is to literally mean - to steal it you need lots of luck.

Or you can rely on Davion's: its just a codename for a product. Seeing what he's dealing with. (And the biohazard sign on the canister) One can really guess.

But what I am not satified with is the canister is rolling all over the place. Even if it is a fake I wouldn't be surprised. Remember the lethal bioweapon in "The Rock", how it was handled? How the canister roll (and not explode) is really amazing. - I'd say: it is impossible.

Caught it in the theaters on Thursday. The action was pretty good, but I can barely remember the previous 2 installments, so no comparison here. Agree with the Rabbit's Foot thing though, with all the commotion around, it was quite impossible for it NOT to blow up...and it was rolling across the street, man, that's just so not original.
