You won't find it in SG for sure since it was never popular here and never officially brought in.

Try this link for yesasia's vcd set. The dvd is sold out there.

XAJH01 is the best wuxia pian to have come out and nothing since then could have matched it at all. It was ZJZ's last best work. You will enjoy it if you throw out everytinhg you have read in JY's novel and just look at the series with fresh eyes. The series gave a better ending to the story than JY' did.

Here are 2 nice sites on XAJH01.

    http://sodcctv.tripod.com/

    http://xajhpics.tripod.com/

Amazon is selling the dvd in 4 parts titled Laughing in the Wind but it's US$20+ per part which I find horrible expensive. But that version is English sub.

Mainland JY adaptations are overrated, matchless..HAH! Yes you literally have to throw out all details of JY novels to really enjoy the series. And I can't do that. Just can't.

Your lost, and that has been the trend with almost every adaptation nowadays. You will not find one that really sticks to the novel. So it's not just a mainland habit. Every producer thinks he can write the better novel.

I tried ordering from Yesasia but twice they came back telling me that the series is out of stock. so that avenue is closed i guess. I have tried VCD shops in KL and JB but they don't have it either. sigh.... i wish i asked my aunt to buy from china when she was there.....

this was a good series. I think it was the first mainland China production I watched. The scenery was awesome. music/score pretty good as well.

I placed my order on 1 May from the link I'd provided. Stock was shipped from HK on same day.

It was the only series of ZJZ that had totally original music. All that followed had clones from all over the place.

The series had pretty nice music to go with it, the feel of it was pretty much wuxia series...

That's why I said it is a true wuxia classic.
Can't wait for my yesasia oder to arrive. Really regretted lending my set to a friend who refused to return it because he liked it so much.

So happy I got my order today. It came by air and did not have any problem with our customs nor censorship board. The vcd quality is very good. The packaging is 2 compartments inside a long rectangular box. Each compartment holding 20 discs.
The box is made of thick and stiff cardboard with a nice glossy blue printed overlay.
Much better than my original mauve toned first edition.

Really nice overall. Trying not to watch it as I need to finish my TVB David Chiang 9 Yin Jen Jing first...hard to resist....holding onto and caressing the beautiful blue box.....

Order from the link I gave you and you should add another order for a low priced vcd/dvd movie so you'd get free shipping. The retail price is really worth it for such a great wuxia series.

Currently watching this series (on episode 9) and it's really good! Despite the changes, everything is near perfect.

If you don't mind scratches and maybe unwatchable segments.
