Post Triple-Threat Match - Xiao Feng v Xuzhu v Duan Yu

In a Triple-Threat match involving sworn brothers Xiao Feng, Xuzhu and Duan Yu. No interference from other people and no physical weapons is allowed to be used. Wine is provided for each of them.

At the peak of their martial arts, let's take the time as before XF dies, the three of them decided to fight it out. Who emerges victorious?

Xuzhu should be easily victorious if he was at the absolute peak of his powers

I'd say a draw for some reason. XZ had superior internal power. DY has powerful skills like BMSG and 6MSJ and LBWB. And XF also has the superior HL18Z.

But doesnt XF have more battle experiance than his other 2 brothers? Maybe he could get an advantage in the battle because XZ and DY do not know what to do in a free for all fight. Also XF might lose his rational and fight for real where as XZ and DY would hold back.

It could end up being a draw.

DY could not be approached from 10 feet onwards

XZ could not be hurt due to the Bei Ming Zhen Qi

XF has the most experience, and fighting guile among the three, and thus more likely to escape from their attacks.

Erm? I thought Mu rong bo was the old dead guy.

But it has been a long time since I last watched it, maybe I forgot the name?

I would say XZ since at the end of the novel he was no where at his peak. I think martial peak is around 50-60 years old. Since he knew the improved XL18Z and has way more internal to draw from he would win.

In the 80's TVB adapt MRB killed everyone including sweepes

Siu Yeun San sacrificed his life, holding Mo Yung Bok down and preventing him from leaping away as Deun Yu and Hui Juk jointly blasted the villain with the full force of their martial arts (6 Mak Divine Swords and Siu Yiu Sect martial arts, respectively).

Even in this radical rewrite, however, Mo Yung Bok could not singlehandedly kill the Janitor Monk. By himself, Mo Yung Bok was losing against the Janitor Monk. It was only by teaming up with Kau Mor Tze and ganging up on the Janitor Monk that they managed to overpower him.

So Sweeper monk died because of teaming? Where was XF, XZ, XYS and DY then? And where was JMZ and MRF when MRB got teamed?

Kiu Fung was back in the capital of the Liao Empire.

The newly married Hui Juk was in Hsi Hsia.

Deun Yu, presumably, was in Dali.

Kau Mor Tze was there with Mo Yung Bok, double-teaming the Janitor Monk.

Mo Yung F'uk was a fugitive at the time, I believe, hunted by both Dali and the Beggar's Union.

Actually, get it. Despite the radical rewrite of the final 1/3 of the story, it's hard to top DGSD '81 for casting, acting, action, music, etc. It's not accurate in the final part of the story, but it's entertaining and well-crafted.

I agree. I especially love the MUSIC and the themesong. Everything is original and it fits a Wu Xia theme. Acting was top of the line. Casting was great. Everyone fit their role very WELL!!! Can't ask for anything better in those days.

DemiGod and SemiDevil 96' with Felix Wong is not that bad either. Actually, it is an AWESOME series. I actually prefer Felix Wong as Qiao Feng than Liang Jia Ren. Felix is taller and Bigger, so I think it fits him better. Action was also good. It had a good blend of hand to hand combat and SFX. Very good.

It's amazing how many people think Zhang Wuji would get owned easily by Xu Zhu based upon internal power alone and yet think Xiao Feng would still win over Xu Zhu. Hero worship.
