Favourite female character from the Condor Trilogy

For me, Huang Rong is #1 (can't you tell from my username?!) with Zhao Min coming in a close second... I don't really know why. Guo Fu is a real brat to me. However, I sympathize with Mei Chao Feng.

Going to give Yin Susu a well deserved +1 here. While she was annoying at the start, she became probably one of the most compassionate mothers in the trilogy. She knows how to raise a child properly =D.

Oh, about the Xiaolongnu being one-dimensional argument: While I will admit she hasn't got a great depth in terms of character, she's not one dimensional. Two dimensional is more appropriate. On one side, you have the badass emotionless XLN (My favourite mode) who just walks in and kills people (Chongyang Palace) and then you have the over-emotional side. There isn't much of a middle-ground with her.

Looking back at this thread brings back memories...

Yeah I used to worship Huang Rong, but ROCH really ruined her character for me. Also, re-reading LOCH, the novel dropped a few places on my favorites list as the writing, in my opinion, was not as good as many of the later novels.

I still do love Zhao Min, and Mei ChaoFeng is also a beast. A pity I can't change my vote (or my username, for that matter).

Some of us have a huge problem with ROCH for this (among other) reason: Jin Yong seemed to deliberately debase his LOCH characters and concepts just to glorify the newly-introduced ROCH ones.

You mean 2006? LOL I love Guo Xiang too. I hate/dislike/don't care about everyone in the Guo family except for her. Yang Mi as her was so adorable!

Who is your favourite female character from the Condor Trilogy?

I only watched LOCH and ROCH, so mine are:
- Mu Nianci: I like her. But so tragic character:s.
- Huang Rong: Ariel Lin as her was soo annoying... as her character... she's a good character.. but I don't like her for some reason...
- Li MoChou: She's evil but unlike Mei ChenFeng(who's also evil) I like Li MoChou. She plays a bigger part in the novel, and she's evil but... in the same way, really cool!
- Xiaolongnu: She's in between like and ok. Nothing special to say about her. I like her beauty description though LOL.
- Guo Fu: Hate her. She's annoying.
- Guo Xiang: I like her! So cute and adorable!
- Yin Susu: Don't know her. - Zhao Min: Just know she's the 1st female lead in roch sequel. That's it.
- Zhou Zhiruo: Just know she's the 2nd female lead in roch sequel. That's it.
- Xiao Zhao: Don't know her.
Out of the list, I like Mu Nianci, Li MoChou, Xiaolongnu and Guo Xiang
