i've just finished watching this movie and i thought it was overall btw good and ok...i know that this movie won alot of awards so I decided to check it out. I have questions and comments about this movie but don't want to spoiled for other people who didn't watch it yet. oh well, is it me or this movie only have men and one female actress? Are all the men in love w/ each other???? i'm so confused.

I just saw this last night. LKJ's acting gets to people. His role makes you sympathize with him. He acted really well like 'her'.

The issues addressed in this show is disturbing, esp sexual themes.

a good movie, but quite disturbing. it reminds me of another k-movie...bungee jumping-- but king and the clown is a Way better film... bungee jumping...leaves you like..."duh?!" at the end. the thing with king and the clown, they were not easily identified as gay... but then again they are... junki a "pretty actor" though. come to think of it, he's prettier than some actress i've watched.

You forgot the king's mom and his other concubines.

What are u talking about. If men care for other men, then they must have romantic feelings towards each other?

The two leads are a bit ambigeous. They do love each other. But romantically or just a very very deep friendship, is left for the viewers to decide. But the other clowns just care for each other like brothers. The king is just looking for a mother figure.

I was more impressed with the actor who played the King. But my favourite character is the masculine clown.

i like the scenery of this movie. good thing I am in South Korea right now and was able to visit the film site!
but overall I didn't get this movie as much. I'm kind of confused by it.
