    Hairspray

    This musical/movie is full of energy and good songs. John Travolta in this movie is brilliant. The lead actress has a lot of energy and it trickles down to all her co-stars.

    Meet Dave

    It's actually better than I expect, especially the first part when Nilians were still incapable of emotions.

    Korean movie Shadowless Sword
    Cast: Yun So-Yi (Yoon Soy) || Lee Seo-Jin || Shin Hyeon-Jun (Shin Hyun-Joon) || Lee Ki-Yong

    Very enjoyable movie with lots of action and wire-work.
    Two good looking ladies with swords…the guys were OK.

    I just watched"Painted Skin" of 2008. Love the acting, hate the story, love the themesong, love the scenery/cinematography.

    I sometimes think that there should be more action in here instaed of the romance, which was very draggy at times. But the artistes really brought out the emotions. Love seeing Donnie Yen get bashed (cos he is the usual one who bashes teh other to a pulp)

    story was kindda short IMO, that's like covering 1 issue of the comic book... should have been a little longer with more plots.

    Recently watched Painted Skin, The Mist and Battle of Red Cliff, and Kungfu Panda. Also rewatched West Side Story. It was pretty good. Watch to go see the new James Bond movie...just came out in Australia.

    I recently watched three films, Southland Tales starring Justin Timberlake and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, it was a weird one man, it was long, dragging, had a lot of unncessary and weird (did I already say that?) scenes that only lengthened the torture. It was a aci fi movie discuised as a political thriller/ love story/mystery. It was all very weird (sorry for saying it again) It didn't do much for me. It had an okay twist in the end to make up for trying to mess around with your brain for two hours or so...

    City of Ember, as I recently learned was based on a book, but it was good. Predictable but good. Tim Robbins and Bill Murray were the only familiar faces there and they played supporting roles, but it's a kids' movie so its natural to have kids in the lead...

    and lastly Twilight, which I only saw last night. In totality, the movie was okay. Only, the director didn't make an active effort to 'own the movie' staying safe and pretty much doing what the literary piece dictated.
    The main character Edward, couldn't act for shit (such a shame), and looked like a constipated, instead of a tortured vampire for the whole flick. It was kinda funny, and kinda boring at the same time. But it was entertaining. Eye candies galore for both girls and boys alike.

    Did I drone on? Sorry.. I got carried away there
