Last film I saw was Australia...I like Baz Luhrmann films and I'm used to a bit more creativity on his part, but overall it was a good movie. Nothing particularly original, but there's the epic romance feel, and I'm a total sucker for romances set on a historical backdrop (Gone with the Wind, Titanic, Pearl Harbour, etc), the kind that make you laugh and cry. Hugh Jackman is pretty damn fine, Nicole Kidman is decent (and very thin) but seemed somewhat typecast, and the biracial aboriginal boy in the movie, Nullah, is a real highlight.

I also saw Twilight, but I don't even want to talk about that...peer pressure.

I last saw Socrates in Love (Crying out Love, in the Centre of the World). I liked it a lot. Very touching.

Default Made of Honour - starring Patrick Dempsey, Michelle Monaghan

It somehow got me through to a moment of thoughts. Thoughts of? The funny thing called relationship, and not necessarily love.

Relationship dissect (my thoughts thus far):

    1) Some people who have caught you (supposedly you fall for....at first sight) initially, may end up becoming your confidenté, a friend who listens to you. Not necessarily a suitable candidate for a lover afterall.

    2) Some people whom you think is a buddy, a close friend who shares similar interests, who knows you very well and accepts the bad & good of you, one whom you could talk about all kinds of crazy stuff with, and whom you have likely be taking (him/her) for granted all the time/most of the times, you suddenly feel this funny lost when he/she is gone (distant by distance, not dead). And, what they have asked of you to do for them but you shy away, you suddenly wanted so badly to "grant them that wish"

    3) Some people who fits the bill of your ideal partner, you met him/her and you realised that you don't feel comfortable with him/her and rather be with someone whom you have plain chemistry with.

There could be more but this is so much that has triggered my mind.

No problemó, Atlan. Those are not infor, though. They are my own reviews after watching the movie, maybe you'll get a different trigger from watching the same thing.

BTW, this normal mode of Atlan is good, IMO. Keep it up! (See, I'm not always nitpicking on ya, right? )

I'll be watching Twilight ><....... and I'm so looking forward to.

to you for watching silent movies and liking Charlie Chaplin. Which version of David Copperfield?

I haven't seen a movie in the theater since The Dark Knight, but last week I watched The Restless (Joong-cheon) on DVD. That was an excellent movie.

    Thank you, sniffles!

I feel, Sir Chaplin has achieved perfect timing in comedy. I've even bought the biography about him, trying to understand his background, thoughts and approach. In simple words, what molded him to become him. He is such a natural Humourist.

It was a BBC version of David Copperfield, a 1999 film. The only version that I know, too. There's Maggie Smith and Daniel Radcliffe in the movie, too.

BTW, I've always been curious. What is Botelan, Elegang? What language is that?

Santa's Slay. The premise was delightfully wicked and the evil Santa himself was cool... But with such a promising premise and Bill Goldberg as Santa - it could have been much, much better. But even though the flick itself is rather mediocre, it still has one of the coolest incarnations of Santa Claus I've ever seen...
