Gugu, I have a different opinion though.

Crap movie. The only thing that scars me is not the supposedly eerie and creepy stuff but the stupid sound system and the dumb audiences screaming (just like how you'd jerk because you're standing under a firedrill alarm as it rings) that woke me up while I was nearly dozing off completely.
What can I say? I'm still standing! No weapon against me shall prosper! I am more than a conqueror!!!

I've been a sloth lately and have been watching Damo and Hwang Jin Yi, both starring the lovely Ha Ji Won.

I can't say they are the best films around but she really has presence in the films, even if they are a bit slow in pace sometimes.

Hwang Jin Yi was especially good for me, such a b*tchy lead.
Currently in love with Bae Suzy...for superficial reasons.

Just saw The Founding of a Republic. That Chinese movie about how PRC was started. Lots of famous actors in it, but because you try to cram everything and everybody in 2 hours, a lot of people - Donnie Yen, Leon Lai, Andy Lau, got only a few minutes on screen. Vicki Zhao had one lousy line near the end of the movie. But I tell you, the actors really looked at the historical figures, esp Mao Zedong.

The Blind Side with Sandra Bullock. She's great.

And the first Twilight movie. Pretty bad in all aspects. And to think I'm going to watch the sequel tonight! Only because of Taylor, the sexiest 17 year old on the planet.

i saw a free screening of when in rome. it was ok. dialogue wasn't so great, and plot was predictable, but the characters were really funny.

I just saw Wolverine today. At first I wasn't sure what I was expecting out of this movie, but overall I enjoyed it.

Alvin and Chipmunks 2 and Bodyguards and Assassins. Both are good!

Alvin and Chipmunks 2: If you like Part 1, you will like part 2. i think both are as good. The chipettes were pretty! It was so cute when they sing and move!

Bodyguards and Assassins: The plot was interesting and the scenes were very exciting! It made you so anxious every minute you just can't take your eyes off screen. No time for toliet break too!
I am grateful when new friends come into my life, but old friends are the best. I know this is true because of YOU.

Freedom Writer on dvd. Bought it more than 2 years ago and only watched it recently. It's a very inspirational movie. It'll teach everyone despite our different races, culture, complicated background, etc, we'll always have something in common. Hilary Swank made an outstanding performance in that movie, which trully touches me. Erin Gruwell is an amazing teacher.

Not forgetting the actress, Imelda Staunton, who starred as the evil professor XX (forgot her name) in HP: Order of the Phoenix, is also in this movie. She's the head master (or assistant to head). As for what kind of teacher that short stout is.... watch Freedom Writer.

Coraline - I actually like it more than Up. Up will probably win all the big awards, though.

The Blind Side.....I really love this one, especially coz it's based on a true story, makes it even more captivating. Sandra Bullock shines in here.

21 and The Departed.21 is based on the true story of a group hand selected by a professor at MIT who can increased the odds of winning Blackjack at any Las Vegas casino's.As for Departed is based on the Internal Affair's HK version, although I had seen both.I do liked the Internal Affair's because it is much complicated, but more realistic to the sense you felt like you are in it.Departed just felt alittle bit rushed.
