I also like that this particular cliche is absent among the brothers.

I didn't play the game. So, I have no comparison. Maybe that's why I was able to enjoy the movie more.

SATC 2. funny at times, the location and clothes were gorgeous. the plot was a little lacking, and i really didn't need the "i am woman" scene. pandering...

    "A Moment To Remember" (DVD)

That movie is one reason why I love Korean movies.

The performance by the lead actors was exceptional- emotionally charged yet remarkably understated.

What a joy/gem this movie is!

Prince of Persia. The ending was slightly unexpected and I enjoyed the movie overall.

Ip Man 2. It wasn't bad, and it didn't my expectations either. Am sad that Louis Fan practically didn't get to fight.

add to Prince of Persia: I enjoyed Alfred Molina's acting in that movie. He is such a versatile actor.

Nankyoku Ryorinin / Antarctic Chef - based on the autobiographical writings of a cook from Tokyo who traveled to the South Pole to prepare elaborate meals for a research team stationed there for an extended period of time. I made the mistake of watching this before lunch and my salivary glands went a little crazy at times. The team consisted of a doctor and a cook, but apparently no hairdresser to speak of. This was a laid-back, feel-good story with no significant plot - a nice, welcome break from the sometimes hectic beat of everyday life.

Kuhio Taisa / The Wonderful World of Captain Kuhio - based on a true story of a marriage swindler who swindled 3 women out of a lot of dough. It's a good mix of both comedy and drama, though at times it couldn't tell what it wanted to be. Sakai-san's fake nose cracked me up. He has a naturally nice, relatively tall nose to begin with, but this was too much. I kept thinking that Sammul Chan would have fit this role quite well too.

Burn? What happened? Daybreakers was one of the movies which I've missed in the cinema because I was too cowardy to catch it.

How was the movie overall? The comments I've read thus far, never fail to include the word 'gore'.

it wasn't scary, if that was what deterred you from watching it. vampires burned when exposed to sunlight.

it was just kinda bloody. but nothing really up close either. it was bloody, but they only used wide shots, so you couldn't see any detail.
