I keep forgetting there are so many sections of spcnet.

I just watched "Little Big Soldier" and "Feng Sheng". Both were great but in different ways. The first one is a buddy trip comedy hidden with anti war messages. The second was an espionage thriller...also of the patriotic war kind but doesn't really scream anti war. My girlfriends all criticize me for watching too many films from the genres of war/espionage [period preferred], thrillers, supernatural/horror, science fiction, martial arts, and true crime...even mystery and cop dramas on tv. LoL...so I was recently invited to watch SATC 2...but I didn't watch part one or even follow the series? I can't really watch chick flicks or romcoms...neither are they interesting AND romcoms always make me cry...that genre is an oxymoron...

Confuscius. I like the fighting scenes. Unless I were wrong, I do not understand the part whereby one of his students went to serve Wei.

    Anders als die Andern (1919).
Very intriguing. Pity only fragments survived.

add to prince of persia, i forgot to add that during the show, there was this ostrich race, and then in the later scene the sole ostrict was refer to as 'she' when its evidently a male ostrict (from the colors of his feathers; female ostricts do not have such a color) ^_^

Just finished watching Bodyguards and Assasins, slow at first but dang what a climax. This must be Nicholas Tse best performance yet! I don't even like Nic Tse, but Four was such a great character.

Li Yuchun looks like a teenaged boy. Leon Lai was actually pretty cool, wooden, but cool...awesome choice of weaponry. Hu Jun was just downright scary. He knew exactly who was in that rickshaw and did what he intended to anyway. And Donnie Yen? Well, other supporting characters were more sympathetic than he was. I laughed at the horse...maybe that wasn't what he intended. Man...the look on Hu Jun's face LoL. I didn't even recognize Zhang Hanyu, 'cept for his voice...dang that was some heavy makeup...good disguise, good disguise LoL.

Let's see, so that's [1] Little Big Soldier, [2] Feng Sheng, [3] A World Without Thieves, [4] Assembly, [5] Bodyguards and Assassins...oh and [6] Look For A Star haha

Just watched Toy Story 3 and enjoyed it! It reminds me of what I used to think: Every toy has a life.....

Now, now where's Billy Bob, my favourite toy bear?
What can I say? I'm still standing! No weapon against me shall prosper! I am more than a conqueror!!!

I saw How To Train Your Dragon a few weeks ago. It's fun and highly entertaining! I saw it in 3D, though, because I read some reviews online about how 3D enhanced the parts where the dragons were flying. I beg to differ, though. Watching the movie in 3D didn't add much to my movie experience, at least, not for How To Train Your Dragon.

I just saw Iron Man 2. It's surprisingly good. I read online reviews that the movie was a disappointment compared to the first movie. But I liked it! Perhaps, I had low expectations going into the movie.

Saw Shrek 4 last night. Liked the 3D effects but not so sure about the movie though.

I just finished watching "The Equation of Love and Death" [love Zhou Xun], "Untold Scandal", and "Frozen Flower." There was a lot of gettin' nekkid in the the last two. Bad Bae Yong Joon was so naughty. Joo Jin Mo looks too masculine in comparison to Jo In Sung.

watched a lot of movies lately:

2012 : overrated disaster and spend to much story inside the ark... boring

Avatar : very boring storyline... 3D are also boring

Twilight and Twilight New Moon : naah, I just introduce to this saga, never read books and only know about this after the DVD... quite creative story concept. not boring although it is target for teenage, definetaly going for 3rd sequel

Book of Eli : at least movie flows nicely from beginning to end.

The Rocker : super funny and 'epic'

twilight eclipse-gotta say it but weren't a fan of the series at all. hated the first two movies, but the 3rd was actually 10x better. the story wasn't as draggy, it actually had alot of comedy and action that kept me entertained. i really enjoyed it going in to watch the premiere with no expectations.

avatar the last airbender- okay gotta say this was the worst cartoon movie adaption ever. if you hated dragon ball evolution, this movie takes that to a whole new level. only good thing about this movie was the graphics, and scenery. the script was horrible, story line pacing was bad, actors was total miscast. i went in to watch the premier unbiased with the casting like dbe, but it turns worst. the movie nearly made me fell asleep. i had to keep talking to my friend about the bad qualities of the movie to keep awake. dragon ball evolution at least kept me entertained and story flowed better. do not watch this movie wait for dvd release and rent it.

a-team-gotta say one of those underrated movies probably because people don't know what a team. it had a good cast, storyline and script was good. really action pack and had alot of comedy in it. the ending part was my favorite. watch this in theater if you haven't, its a real good movie.

prince of persia-also an underrated movie due to people judging the cast and story with the game. aside from that it was a real action pack and had comedy and some romance in it. also good, gotta watch this in theaters if you haven't. seriously it was a real good movie.

the karate kid 2010- good family movie, storyline kept me entertained, had good character development, actions scenes looked real. wish jackie chan had fought the other master. as good as the movie was, there was really no point of watching it in theater unless your a fan of jackie chan just wait to buy it on dvd, has alot of good morals.

nightmare on elm street remake- good as a remake, like the way the story went, and people would say freddie doesn't look scary, but thats actually what a real life burn victim looks like. i think the only reason the old series did good was bc of the cheesieness, alot of gore etc like the friday the 13th series. but over all this was a good movie, i will get it on dvd/blue ray when it comes out like most of the remakes.

storm warriors-got this the other day on dvd, gotta say i actually loved it. cgi were top notch, n being made by director pang bros that professionalize in ghost movies it was real good unlike mnight shamalan air bender which was an epic fail using 250 million dollar budget. the movie had good action scenes and story was good. but watch this if you read the comics or watch the 2000 tv series with peter ho and vincent chiu man cheuk. the reason is the story goes fast and if you don't have insight in the story you won't really understand it. but even with out understanding the storyline it was still good movie action packed cgi wise. the cinematography was cool since it look comic book feel, and each fight scenes seems epic. all of my friends and family enjoyed the movie even tho some didn't get the story.
