Megamind - I enjoyed Despicable Me a lot more.

Saw 3D - mediocre conclusion to a great franchise

    Default Shoot 'Em Up

I watched this cliche ridden [on purpose], mindless, high body count 'epic' last night and enjoyed it. The raw carrot munching hero hardly wastes a bullet throughout and even managed to survive after the 'baddie' broke fingers on both his hands. He even knocked off two guys with a raw carrot and got off his last shot using a carrot to pull the trigger. Tongue in cheek right to the end.

Saw Harry Potter, I wanna see a collage of pictures of how the actors look in each of the series as they grew up.

I recorded a late night movie called Tough Beauty/Sloppy Slop just because it featured Cynthia Khan. Discovered it was made in the Philippines and had the worst sub-titles I've ever seen. They were so bad, they weren't even funny. The movie may even have set a new record for martial arts action movie cliches. It was definitely a fast forward to the fights scenes kind of movie.

Just watched Bodyguards and Assassins and enjoyed it a lot. This movie was available on TV because I discovered that my cable provider is having a free preview of LSTTV [Long Shong Times TV] which shows a bunch of Taiwan, HK and China movies, along with some series [I missed tonight's first episode of the Kung Fu Beggar but I've set it to series record]. Guess I'll have this channel added to my cable package.

Rapunzel (aka Tangled). Very enjoyable. Hilarious and touching. Lots of laugh out loud funny scenes.

    Just watched the 'Twins Mission'.
Lots of real twins in action and some film trickery twins as well. The budget for fake glass must have been the biggest cost in this looser of a HK movie.

Just watched The Message in my cable, love this movie. So dark and yet appealing. Zhou Xun was superb in her role.

Just saw The Warrior's Way last Friday. I expected it to be shallow but fun. It was fun, but had more depth than I expected.

Monday I'm going to see Tron Legacy.

Duel - early psychological thriller directed by Steven Spielberg. Frankly I was a little bored with this film. Joy Ride was better.

Last night I watched a silly fung fu movie called Flying Dagger. Humor and overdone attempts at humor with a fair amount of action and smashed property. Lots of attractive ladies and cutsie Jimmy Lin for female fans. Enjoyable, but not memorable.

Caught up with watching Tomorrow When the War Began. Saw Tangled 3D last night....wondering if I should have watched The Tourist instead.

Finished watching:The Green Hornet staring with Jay Chou on my Bday.I saw the international ads 1/28 release date, but its nice its out on the 1/14 There are lots of laughter during middle of the movie without spoiling, but Jay Chou's acting has improved and can sing English songs alittle bit better.I remember he had mentioned this film he worked hard on;the hardwork did paid off.

Friday - you should have watched 'The Tourist'. and seems you havent, you should put it on your list of 'to see'. I recommend it as above avearge for a western flick. Meaning, if you're not a critic like me, it should at least be enjoyable and entertaining throughout. On the other hand if you are a critic and expect high quality try to relax and take the story as it goes and if you like Jonny Depp well it wont be so strange to say 'love is in the air', but of course its in Italy so what's not to say that romance is a european affair. If I give you my vote you will probably give it the flick, but it is better thatn your original choice.
