Default What did you just watch?

I thought, rather than start a thread for every single new movie or ...TV show, it'll be a good idea to have one handy thread.
Just for things you've just watched on TV or at the movies, that doesn't necessarily need a seperate thread.....

So, I just watched "THE GRADUATE" on DVD.

All the performances were brilliant, the characters believable.
All up, a very enjoyable movie, so good infact, that it left even me emotionally involved!(nah not really $this->handle_bbcode_img_match('http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b167/volczZz/smiley_md_clr.gif'))

-the island starring ewen something? n scarlette johannson [very good! highly recommended if u're intro futuristic, action movies]
-wedding crashers [it was funny..but i didn't find it "hilarious" like how others described it -shrug but loved owen wilson n rachel mcadams in there! *thumbup]
-longest yard -adam sandler, nelly, chris rock [it was ok]

haha yea..i finally signed up for a membership at hollywood vid. soo i've been sort of a movie freak the past 2 weeks n i'm going back today! to get more movies!

I recently watched "Groundhog Day" with Bill Murray on DVD and loved it so much I bought it. It's a very old movie, but showcases Murray's humor perfectly, and though the plot is completely implausible and despite the happy ending, it really has something to say about our lives and how we spend our time. I'd recommend it to anybody who shuns such films as "the benchwarmers" in favor of "lost in translation."

In theaters, "Cars." But only because my friends made me. It's not a complete waste of time; I like to pretend that I was somehow spending quality time with my friends, in that dark theater, and for 90 minutes during which we said maybe three words to each other. Anyway, they enjoyed it.

I've been meaning to rent "the Graduate," and I think now I finally will.

I've just watched Wet Dreams 1 & 2, Spy Girl & He was Cool. The latter has a good story & a happy ending one.

I just watched X-men - The Last Stand

The story was ok, never read any of the X-men comics, wouldn't know how the producers destroyed the story until I visited the X-men thread. Fairly entertaining, could be better but at least it wasn't crappy.

Moonlight in Tokyo and Dragon Squad.

Moonlight in Tokyo was very funny but with a very sad twist ending. For once I enjoyed Leon Lai as a actor.

Dragon Squad was super violent and cool.

I just watched The King and the Clown, a korean movie that talks about a tyrant King's obsession with a jester. Pretty interesting, had me laughing at quite a few parts, but I can't say I understand the ending though.

I just watched a movie of Lee Byung Hun, a Bittersweet Life. I like the story & he's great in the movie. He's acting is very good. No wonder he's the Best Actor!!!! I really admire this guy when it comes to acting.

Last night, I watched "Adaptation" on DVD. It was pretty good, especially the characters. I started to fell for John Laroche myself and let me tell you that the dude is not what people usually consider good looking. I was also quite surprised at the very interesting ending; quite bizarre.

The Empire Strikes Back. Despite this movie being old, I still enjoy watching it over and over.
