Ah Nu was cute in some scenes, but most of the time I felt she overracted. Like exaggerating is one way to be funny, but she looked kind of stupid. Like if I knew her in real life, I probably wouldn't like her all that much. If she's that young, she still has time to improve her acting...has she gone to college yet? She could consider majoring in film acting...that'd help.

People can say that viewers tend to like Yue Ru, but I really did like her best in the series, not because she's the underdog, but because she seems the most real and also the most deep. And she's got spunk, makes you laugh, but she can be be serious and helpful, and I really admired the loyalty she showed towards Xiao Yao.

ahhh...Esther Liu, I personally like her. For a new actres with limitted experience, she seems very natural on screen, even if some of her actions are a bit overdone/exxagerated.

The most annoying thing about her in Chinese Paladin was probably her voice. Everyone had other people dub their voices, and I was really annoyed
I mean, Eddie Peng got this horrible deep throated voice
And Esther was dubbed by...gee was it a 14 year old?

She was much better in Green Forest my Home,
a lot more natural
I mean, she was 17 when they filmed it, playing a 24 year old
and she was mature enough that you believed it
while still having a childishness that was natural when
she was around the students

In Chinese Paladin, the cameraman had a tendency to
capture her so that her eyes looked kinda sqinty.
It happened to Liu Yi Fei a couple of times too

Anyway, I see bright things for Esther's future
A bit more improvement, and she could really be up there
on the topcharts (if dramas have that kinda thing)

Yup, I read that too. she said she's tired of this business already since she started real early when she was around 14. She said she's ready to go abroad and study and change her lifestyle a bit, which means we won't be seeing any series from her for quite a while. what a pity, I felt she had potential.

actually, I wasn't annoyed by her Ah Nu character in Chinese Paladin at all. She ended up being one of my favorites in the show and I found the voiceover to be rather suitable for her character. good thing it didn't bother me the way it apparently did to some other viewers, hee hee.

Liu Pinyan is a singer actually.She and another girl make up a music combinatory called 'Sweety'.They have published some records already.

i love ester yan yan....she was so cute in chinese paladin...she was good in green forest but the story just kind of suck....i love her with eddie they make such a cute couple...can't wait for her new series...her new series is with eddie....

Hmmmm not too sure about that. But Ran Jing Tian did came out with a few news articles about him with other female artistes. So i'm not sure is he Yan Yan's boyfriend or not.
I wonder how is she now???
