The media felt the remarks were full of provocation and reported on this.

About five months ago

Yesterday at 2:00am, in his Blog with "Press Releases notice" as its theme, he refuted the media reports, and stressed that he had no intention to provoke people who were concerned about the incident.

But Edison Chen has defused the media hopes with a new blog entry earlier this morning claiming that the pictures were screens from his new movie, “The Sniper” and has nothing to do with the photo scandal. That row of words were not posted recently at all but a few months back. Great way to tie this up with the movie promotion though I feel.

There were no new photos or videos posted at the time of writing. But shockingly, there were posts at a Hong Kong forum yesterday previewing that there were as much as 67 photos plus 2 videos. The preview list was listed in a catalouge format and coded 蕭2、pg7、bo3、鐘5、鄧4、q1、楊10、g9、周6、r8. The english alphabet and chinese name indicated the female star name while the number could be the amount of photos. The two videos are supposedly two clips totalling 13 minutes of DVD quality footage. All these however could be a hoax and are purely speculation on the part of netizens.

For other female stars linked, they have all claimed innocence and refused to have anything to do with it or comment. Rosanne has commented that she has never taken any pictures and she swears by it over her dead body! She also gave a frank statement, “Some photos are real, some are fake.”

This is kind of bollocks so just read it for fun. Netizens have come to a consensus that Edison’s situation is kind of similar to what was being played out in popular Japanese manga, Death Note with reference to the character, Kira.
