There are some doubts though.

How did Si Wei get hold of Sean's cell phone number and remember it so clearly that he can call him from a telephone booth?

I usually hate Singapore series so much.. but i was watching an ep on friday and i found out that it was actually quite nice.. the directing and filming is different.. and the story line is captivating... does QI YU WU end up with IVY LEE?? who goes with who??

I think it's more likely that he will end up with Apple Hong. That is, if her character doesn't die halfway down the show.

I have no problems with this series other than one thing which happens for twice! And that's regarding the love relationships among the characters. People who doesn't want spoilers should refrain from reading on.



























The ending is that Siwei realises that he loves Ye Xue afterall, and tries to get her back. But didn't Liwen just die??? Her corpse hadn't even turned cold (shi gu wei han) and he's off to chase another woman! And that woman was his dead buddy's wife! Same goes for Ye Xue. From someone who was deeply in love with her husband, it is startling how swiftly she grew to have affection for Siwei, even if he does treat her and the family real good. It's just... too disgusting and unbelievable.

Well after all, Ye Xue took a bullet meant for Siwei and as a result lost her sight... temporarily i think.. maybe Siwei feels grateful? But i agree that Ye Xue's love for Siwei is unbelievable... The speed at which Ye Xue changes from hate to love for Siwei is really fast...

Ye Xue's character is just eew. She blames everything on Siwei for her hubby's death even though he has nothing to do with it. It is the pervert that killed his husband. Then, on hearing how he paid the loansharks for her, she turned around and like him again. She gets jealous of Liwen even when she has no claims on Siwei after all the hating. And her dancing is horrible! It's just like some old auntie dancing on the bartop! I feel goosebumps creep on my neck when I see her dance. Why would Siwei, who loved Liwen deeply, fall in love with her?! This is too unbelievable.
