She's the XLN of the millenium...she never gets old. looks better than most younger actresses as well. my ideal wife indeed...LOL

Vivian Hsu isnt the greatest actress in the world but she'll do well because of her looks. She started off with a few not so good movies(R-rated)...some criticized her for that. i believe she needed the money for her family....too bad some people dont see that...

She never really aged all these years. I used to watch her flower vase roles in Nicky Wu etc movies and sort of forgot abt her when she went to Japan. I heard her career didnt really take off in Japan and she only grew somewhat popular with her relationship with the lead guitarist, Sugizo(which she broke up with, a few yrs ago) of Japan's famous rock band, Luna Sea. She used to dawn that lolita image and did a couple of R-rated movies as well as several Japanese-type of Playboy magazine shots.

But she has since ditched that image and has grown more popular ever since returning to Taiwan. She's focusing on her singing career and is doing some acting here and there. One of her recent idol dramas was "Love Storm" (a very silly romantic comedy) with Ken Zhu and Vic Zhou. She's just finished a mainland modern series with Hu Ge called "Till death do us apart" and recently starred in another silly HK movie titled "The Shoe Fairy".

Acting is definitely NOT her niche. She tends to always enforce cuteness in her acting, something which Taiwanese actresses love to do and i hate to watch since it's annoying and exaggerated. I find her singing so-so as well. But yeah, she can survive with her looks and her talent probably lies in taking good pictures (she's a very good model).

Indeed, she looks good as a model. I think she makes more money on her modeling career than both of her singing/acting's career combine.

She does have a naturally beautiful face which looks good with little or no make-up on. And her complexion is one to die for..no wonder she's spokesperson for Bioterm

I thought u love girls who are below 21 But oh well, forgot that u are obsessed with youthful and sweet looking girls. BTW, u have to be a great driver and drive a really cool car if u want Vivian to be your wife..that's one of the things she looks out for in men

Yes, the acting and plot in "love storm" was crap..luckily i didnt waste a single cent on it and just caught a couple of episodes on youtube which i gave up halfway. Vivian's hair and acting was terrible, i couldn't believe that she acted the way she did given the amount of experience she has..but the role was incredibly bimbotic and silly to begin with. Her acting seems better in that new series with Hu Ge though.

In an interview, she said tt she doesnt exactly look for the car brand but rather, the guy has to be a very good and cool driver (that's what made her fall for her ex-Japanese bf). Think Initial-D i guess

Does anyone see a facial similarity between Vivian Hsu and Jeon Ji-Hyun (from My Sassy Girl/Il Mare)? I just watched Daisy last week and was reminded of Vivian Hsu a distracting amount.
