And yet, one more, this time regarding the adaption of "TRANSFORMERS". The site now features a look at the first teaser poster, plus a countdown to the first trailer. You can check it out over here.
"SPIDERMAN 3" won't be released for another year, but the hype surrounding it is already reaching breaking point. The latest news features, that not 3, but 4 villains will have an appearance in the third installement. The ones known so far are Venom, Sandman and Green Goblin. The fourth is to be revealed at this years 'Comic Con', and the madness should begin.....
Plus, we may see a first teaser trailer, once "SUPERMAN RETURNS" is released in a few days time!!!
There's been lots of talk and rumors about a "24" movie but now Fox is getting serious. They've closed a deal with series creators Robert Cochran and Joel Surnow to write the script with hopes to begin filming next spring/summer. Sutherland hasn't signed a deal to star in a "24" film but has talked up the possibility of a film and his interest in said film while out promoting the recent season finale of "24."
Finally we get a synopsis to James Cameron's next big thing, called "PROJECT 880". The description below doesn't feature many spoilers, so it's safe to read:
"In the future, Jake, a paraplegic war veteran is brought to another planet, Pandora, which is inhabited by the Na'vi, a humanoid race with their own language and culture. Those from Earth find themselves at odds with each other and the local culture."
Ziyi Zhang ("MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA") has signed a multi-picture deal with the Weinstein Co. that will begin with a starring role in a live-action version of "MULAN". The story was made into a popular Disney film in 1998, as you all know, but originated as a 1956 Chinese movie. The story follows a woman who disguises herself as a man to fight in the Chinese army.
The second project in her deal is expected to be a remake of the classic Akira Kurosawa film, "THE SEVEN SAMURAI" (which was loosely remade into "THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN" in 1960), which I think is a ludicrous idea!!!

Jackson plays an FBI agent who is escorting a witness on a flight from Hawaii to Los Angeles when an assassin releases hundreds of deadly snakes on a commercial airplane in order to eliminate the witness. The FBI agent, along with a rookie pilot, frightened crew and passengers must then band together in a desperate attempt to survive.
The teaser trailer is set to be released soon....
Len Wiseman, who directed both of the "UNDERWORLD" movies, is in talks to direct "DIE HARD 4" for 20th Century Fox. The trade says the fourth installment of the franchise finds hero John McClane coming out of retirement to battle an Internet terrorist organization. Bruce Willis will reprise his role as the fearless cop.
