    Default CARS - pixar/disney animation

as far as i know, this is pixar and disney's last collaboration...when i first saw the preview in the theatre, i did not think that it would be appealing...yet i will give it a try. the critics seem to love it. has anyone seen it? what do you think?

i saw it a couple of days ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. I wasn't looking forward to this one because i thought, oh, cars, sounds like a boy thing. But i did end up going to watch it and i thought it was great

A lot of critics seem to say that it's not as good as nemo or the incredibles. I think the animation in cars, like all pixar films, is very good. The thing that i think might have made this one less enjoyable for some people was the predictability of the storyline. I pretty much guessed what was going to happen in the entire movie within the first quarter of the movie. It's not a bad predictable though, not that romance "groan, he catches her just as she slips" type of cheesy.

Overall i really enjoyed Cars, and i think it's worth a watch. Kinda sad how movies aimed at a young age group have suddenly become as good, if not better than most of the 'adult' type movies, and certainly much much better than 'teenage' trash.

    Thumbs up

Yes, I watched this movie last weekend and absolutely loved it. Disney and Pixar have an uncanny ability to bestow human characteristics on inanimate objects (toys, cars, etc.) and make them lovable. I fell in love with the cars. Like always, the sidekick characters stole a large part of the show with their unique charm. I especially like the Italian car and his employee who sold tires. The scenery, a tribute to the famed Route 66, is incredible. And don't forget to stay for the outtakes at the end of the movie, which were a delightful revisit of some prior Pixar-Disney films. I highly recommend watching Cars!

I heard this movie is pretty good for kids and it got a pretty good rating so those of you that saw it can you tell me if it is good or not in any sort of matters?
If you started, you must finished.
If you do it, you must give it all.

You seem like the person who would like Fast and Fourious right?

It's obviously aimed at a younger audience, so it's got the typical happy endings, cute romance etc. It depends on what you are looking for... i mean, if you want action and excitement... well, this is probably not the right film
