    Default Ouyang Feng: Evil?

Was Ouyang Feng evil? One of questions in LOCH is what is a hero? Jenghis Khan thought of himself as a hero. He had his honorable moments, but he wasn't opposed to using tactics and strategies based upon trickery to win battles and the war. And neither was Ouyang Feng. Both pursued power ruthlessly and many, many people, even innocents died at the hands of both.

OYF wasn't a hero nor did he think he was a hero.

In ROCH he mellowed out significantly though.

In LOCH he was definately evil (well to me). But then in ROCH...I can't hate him...I can only pity him.

Depends on what one defines as "evil," I suppose, but I define evil as this: evil is when one decides that he/she will achieve his/her personal desires at a terrible cost to and in complete disregard for the welfare of others (and is fully aware of it).

Accepting this definition, West Poison Au Yeung Fung was evil during LOCH, but it's not so certain if we can still characterize him as such during ROCH. Since he had lost the capacity for rational thought and logical judgment, I'd say he no longer had the means to be evil during ROCH.
