Anyone have any updates or news on the new series. All I know is that Ariel and Joe is going to be in this Yay!!! They're so cute together. Ariel can really act...great chemistry with both Mike He and Joe. So far I know, they're waiting for Ariel to finish her other films before this drama...can't wait til 2007.

there's no sequel for Japanesse version. In fact, the manga itself (the comic) isn't finished yet as the writer is already passed away.

Well, I remember I read something that in the first part, the newlyweds were on their way to Hawaii for their honeymoon and they meet some new people on the plane but as usual Jiang Zhi Shu wasn't so open to the new friends.

I do have to say, It'll be kind of hard to picture Joe Cheng as the shy yet cold-hearted Jiang Zhi Shu from watching him in Magic Ring as the kind of bad boyish character. Also, according to the leading actress (from MAgic Ring), she had no idea how to passionately kiss on camera and Joe had to teach her. It's kind of weird seeing the way they kissed in ISWAK (sweet) compared to the way Wu Zun and Ariel Lin kiss in Tokyo Juliet and the way Joe Cheng and the leading actress in Magic Ring. BTW, Magic Ring is like the taiwanese version of the movie "Mrs. Winterbourne" and Tokyo Juliet is about a girl whose design is stolen by a world-famous designer (became famous because of her design) and the thing is she designed it when she was 5 also, she ends up falling in love with his son! Popuar idol drama "It Started With a Kiss" is about to film their sequel. Director Qu You Ning, Jo

Cheng, Ariel Lin, and the rest of the cast gathered together for a grand wedding ceremony to celebrate the start of the sequel filming.

Joe Cheng said, "This is actually my first marriage, unlike Ariel, who gets to marry in each drama she stars in. My first marriage in my profession is given to Ariel. Hopefully she can use her rich experience to handle our marriage well."

Ariel Lin replied, "I am extremely honored. Haha.. I will definately be a good wife."

After over one year, the original cast is cooperating again. Everyone's mood is excited and is anticipating this. Ariel said, "I am filled with excitement, anticipation, and anxiety. I told the director that nobody but ourselves give us the high expectations for this. I hope this doesn't become a pressure, but become a dedicated, relaxing job."

Joe Cheng said, "This feels like the first day of elementary school. School begins once again and I am very nervous. I feel excited to return to the school."

ISWAK II will be focused on Ariel and Joe's lifestyle after their marriage. Whether there will be an intimate bed scene is becoming a great anticipation. The director said, "Because they are newlyweds, there should be alot of intimate scenes. I am also a newlywed so I will arrange and discuss scenes with my wife. Everyone will see how sweet they will be!"

Joe replied, "That is the director's practice at home; plan all the scenes and then teach it to me."

Ariel wore a wedding dress and entered through a red carpet. The "groom", Joe Cheng said, "Wei Lun's desire before her death was to wear a wedding dress." Joe disclosed that during the wedding scene, their ten fingers were locked tight. When they think about their good friend, they held on to each other even tighter. Ariel even said, "I felt that Wei Lun had arrived for this wedding."

Idol dramas are popular with sequels. GTV's Hana Kimi sequel has been confirmed to start filming at the end of the year. Last year, ISWAK had successful ratings on CTV and GTV. The filming started yesterday and the channels are already fighting for the broadcasting rights. Other than the original cast, Danson Tang is also included. The GTV executive said that ISWAK will be broadcasted in Tokyo and Fukuoka in Japan.

Ariel hasn't filmed a drama in half a year since she had been studying abroad. The director revealed that the original script didn't plan a kiss scene but Ariel and Joe were willing to have one. Ariel joked, "The director will practice loving his wife at home and use it all on me in the drama."

I've got some info on the cast members on wiki site, apparently there are more actors/actresses joining the original casts. Yu Shu (the little brother) will be back too but I think there's going to be a grown up version of him as well. Everyone seems happy to be back, we fans are too!!! Lots of idols that's joining this cast, this is going to get interesting, probably better than hana kimi. Well, actually I didn't really like Hana Kimi that much, I though ISWAK was better. But that's another topic. Anyways, keep you updating on more info!!!

Yeah, you're right. The little boy who played Jiang Yu Shu will be back at the beginning but then when they fast forward the series i guess a couple of years, Figaro Zeng will be playing the grown up Yu Shu. Figaro was at the ISWAK 2 press conference along with the rest of the cast members from the first ISWAK. Danson Tang, another newbie to the cast, was also there. Although it's not listed above, Arron Yan will also be reprising his role as Ah Bu, Chun Mei's (Xiang Qin's friend with the high-pitched voice) boyfriend.

I heard that Wu Zun and Selina will making a guest appearance as a couple in a few of the episodes.

Ariel and Joe should be heading to Guam (not Hawaii) to film their honeymoon soon.

I also thought it was amusing that the director dressed up as a priest. I like how everyone looks really happy at the press conference. Like they're really celebrating a couple's happy day. Ariel and Joe look really cute together. They even pretended to kiss.

Joe will also be sporting a new hair cut for ISWAK 2. The director thought that Zhi Shu, who will eventually become a doctor, should have shorter hair rather longer hair. I guess it's more professional though i've seen some doctors who have longish hair. At least Joe's hair at the press conference is shorter than it how it was for his latest series, Summer x Summer (Re Qing Zhong Xia). I thought that was a bit too long.

Anyway, here's a before and after picture of Joe's hair. The director snipped off the first piece and then a professional hairstylist took over. I like Joe with longish hair (as long as it's not too long) but i think he looks quite cute with his shorter hair. Maybe it's because it's still a bit longish on the sides as opposed to being short all around.

Yeah me too. I not only have to wait for the series to come out in general but also for it to be subbed in English. So it's going to be a while for me at least. But hey, it's already April so before you know it, we'll all be able to watch ISWAK 2.

I think that Joe's hair does have a bit of highlights in it. Pretty subtle though.

his hair's not bad short.. I'm quite used to it long but he pulls of the shorter style well and still looks like a model too and can still be a doctor. haha

him and ariel seem very comfy with each other.. should be a great series as expected! but yea, we gotta be patient.
