During the few days of Steve & Amy spent together, Steve slowly found out that he felt comfortable telling Amy anything and no secrets to hide from her coz Amy is an understanding person. This is when Steve realized he had fallen in love with Amy. I love the scenes of them together when Steve went to Amy's village.

When did they have their second son? Was steve’s character away from home throughout the course of her 2nd pregnancy? I just saw a scene where they were hand-in-hand, looking at their little son sleeping peacefully. The boy was about 4 years old at that time. When did he know that Amy’s character miscarriage their first child? Hope you watched these scenes 20 times + already.

I didn’t know her. Someone told me that she is Miss HK Monica Chan Fat Yung. She looks not bad together w/ steve ma though, storyline is a kinda sad. Steve’s character has a little sister. They have the same family name/surname but I don’t think she is his biological sister b/c she is the one he loves. She would commit suicide. I’ve seen a press conference clip of this show. Monica said he portrayed as her husband but the one he loves isn’t her. Her character would be lovely & a bit pitiful in his eyes. She would be very happy when they have a child. Steve said his character is quiet guy. He never asks any suggestions or helps. He doesn’t bother to do so. He keeps his feelings in his heart but he would be good to his wife a lot. They talked a lot about their characters but I can’t understand more. Anyway I can understand what Monica said about steve ma. She said this was the 1st time she’s seen him.... he is a big handsome guy & also tall...hahaha.....

Nope, it’s a mainland china production. He will do a modern Taiwanese series w/ Jimmy Lin + 2 taiwanese actresses [I don’t know their names but saw them in steve’s series].


No problem. I like him if he ties his long hairs in ponytail. He looked cool & smart in Family aka Revenge in that hairdo.

Oh....is he? He was very chatty in Fated Love.....always talked about Chinese proverbs. I enjoyed he & his sister’s scenes where they chatted about steve & amy but quite bored with the long conversations bet he & steve’s friend’s big sis. Did he portray as the pig in Journey To the West? I saw a wall poster. The pig resembled him.

Ha Yu is not the Pig in Journey To The West. It was played by Wayne Lai. Ha Yu is a comedian who used to have his own comedy series back in the early 90s. If you've seen Armed Reaction 3 & 4, he played Ada Choi's dad. He is always chatty in any kind of shows.

Hehee. I thought she was very good at her role. Must be her best performance ever. I saw her in Best of the Best. I don’t know the leads though I know her & steve’s dad from TGOD. She was given an insignificant role in there so her performance was just average. She was in Twin Heroes 88 version too. I have this series for ages but didn’t notice that she was there.

Carrie Ng acted mostly in HK movies. Yeah, I've seen her before acting with TVB in the 80s. She is a good actress.

I don't remember very well on this part. I think Amy had a miscarriage on her first pregnancy, the same time when Man Fung was also pregnant with Steve's daughter. Later in Part 2 of TGOD, they had their 2nd son after Steve gained back his memory and Maggie left him with the other soldier. I did not watch this scenes 20 times tho The only episode that I watched 20 times is the part when Steve's Mom just passed away and Steve wanted to commit suicide in the wine cellar but instead Amy cut herself on the wrist and they stayed in his friend's hotel and so on.

Hey, I've just started re-watching this entire series again on Part 1 over the weekend and I've just bought Part 2 vcds from YesAsia. So far, I've not watched Part 2 yet...too many episodes.

I noticed that he sometimes looked aging a bit even when he was quite young. Perhaps I’ve seen quite a lot of his pics. As far as I know, he’s kinda aging a little bit before shooting “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow? 1998”, “Warriors from Magic Mountain 2001” & “LIAM 2004”. I didn’t watch WFMM & LIAM so I don’t know how was he in these series. Despite he looked a bit aging before filming; he was pretty fine in “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow”. I re-watched this series 3/4 times already.

I think Steve Ma looks best in TGOD Part 1 and in Fated Love. The only series that Steve & Amy actually had a lot of kissing scenes are in LIAM. You should watch this series if you are Steve's fan. I enjoyed LIAM a lot! I was just re-watching this series a few days ago, love all the scenes of Steve & Amy.

I think Amy has 2 younger sisters – one is teen & one is about 10-12. Her teen sis fell down from a cliff in a dark rainy night. Correct me if I am wrong. The one I mentioned could be the youngest one. She married to Steve’s bro (Gilbert Lam) later. She doesn’t look 16/17 years old at all. She looks alike Amy’s mother a lot.

So you mean you love those kissing scenes too? Just kidding!! Steve lost his weight a lot when he saw Maggie Siu’s character at war in TGOD. Somehow he wasn’t very good looking & also a kinda aging a bit in some scenes. I know he shot The Good Old Days, New Dragon Inn and Sting – Steal The Sun in 1996 so tiredness probably made him lost of weight. I’ve read LIAM review already & still don’t feel I’d like to add it into my collections. I might change my mind later though. In Fated Love, I could see his charisma there.

Actually I saw Amy in Heroines of Yang for the 1st time. Before this I haven’t known Amy yet. I watched this series b/c I know actor Jiao En Jun. As soon as I saw Amy, I like her quite a lot. Fortunately I saw 2 Fated Love commercial scenes in there. First scene was Steve bought Amy’s mum’s necklace & tried to give her.....In the scene, he was saying “Happy Birthday....don’t you feel that we are fated?.....don’t you believe in love at first sight?”......Second scene was the night at Nan King in the rain. Steve was asking Amy “you love me, don’t you?.... with all my heart I’m very clear that you love me…no matter what I must know about it clearly.....” These 2 scenes really captivated my attention. I saw Amy & Jiao En Jun before I saw Amy & Steve together. I should like Amy & Jiao En Jun as onscreen couple b/c they looked good together in there but I was enchanted by steve & amy instead since I saw them in Fated Love.
