CHQY seemed to be a mysterious story I reckon the ending might be really sad. It is running out of stocks in yesasia. I just saw Cantonese version of Steve’s ATV Justice Pao in yesasia so was so happy & thought to buy it together with either CHQY or Family but those series are not available now. I noticed the prices of all China productions are 50% off but don’t feel it is actually off. I think it is those publishers' low cost strategy. Their overhead costs are lower than the others b/c labour costs are cheaper. Don't you think so?

BEAVO!!! I didn’t know about that!!! So Chun Hua Qiu Yue title is poetic, huh? Yeah I think it would be really sad (for Steve's character). His character came back from overseas in the beginning. If you can read the words on the CHQY advert, you might realize that it’s meaningful.

I just knew Chun is spring, for the rest seasons I had no idea. I know dong , nan, xi, bei b/c martial arts series always mentioned about this matters. What is Tain Chan Ti Jo then? Just curious. Forever? Everlasting? I’ve heard a verse that Steve said in the last episode of Tattooed Flower. I think there was a famous poem regarding these 4 words. Steve also wrote this verse on the novel of Tattooed Flower for a fan. I think I didn't ask you geography in Mandarin here.

Wow…can’t believe you really know his earlier works!!! Yes, I forgot to put Funny Faces in the list.
    Let me guess here…

Could it be Romance of last era? Not really…Chinese title is absolutely different!!

These might be the ones I've not known yet. Thanks a lot for pointing out these shows.

I saw Steve in Star Know My Heart part 2. Second time I saw him…his character was absolutely different from the 1st time I saw him. He wasn’t dashingly handsome yet he looked quite cute in Jackie Chan’s 80’s hairstyle. Cute baby boyish face!!. He looked sweet in the one he teamed up with the actress from Nai He Hua.

That poor thing is a workaholic, really career-minded!!! He got leg injury while shooting Legendary Swordsman but he didn’t care his sprain & finally it became serious. His doctor suggested him to take bed rest so he ended up with 2 day shooting off!!! He fell asleep on his chair during Family shooting break!!!

Every 1st pic is Steve's. If you meant makeup & costime in 80's martial arts series, yeah, it looked awkward. If you meant 90's onward, Steve looked dashingly handsome in ATV Justice Pao, New Dragon Inn & The Legend of Eight Immortals.

Think it should be written as tianchang dijiu (sorry, can't show the accents but the words are sky/heaven long earth timeless) which means "enduring as the universe; everlasting and unchanging" according to my dictionary. Can't believe I'm telling you this. A few months back, my mandarin knowledge was practically zilch. Now, I'm reading Chinese poetry albeit in quaint English? Wow, must keep watching Steve's shows.

Even at 50% off and free shipping, it is still a good deal. I saw some of Steve's series after 50% is only US$20. Hey, I also saw his series Ner Er Chi he plays the emperor during Qing dynasty. Unfortunately, most of his series are in Mandarin.

Thank you for answering my question. I would never figure out Chinese in Romanization since it's my self-taught.

Other online shops offer the same prices for china productions but I agree that it's a good deal b/c VAT free includes. Yeah, most of his series are in Mandarin w/ simplified sub-title. I can't follow the story unless it is Mandarin w/ treditional chinese sub-title.

Chun Hua Qiu Yue has not released yet. The producer has to wait for a while becuz Mo Jie and Tai Zhao Mi Shi Nuerhachi have just released. Same treatment applied to Chun Hua Qiu Yue last year b/c Love In A Miracle & Prince Epic had released earlier than CHQY had. You know what I mean?

Those blopper parts i posted are taken from one of LIAM promotional clips. If you were me, you'd understand what they said. I'm useless here.....couldn't understand what they said.

This scene is when Amy told Steve that she is going to leave Suen family and decided not to teach his son anymore. She is afraid the longer she stay in the Suen family and sees Steve around the house everyday, she can't control herself but to fall deeper in love with him especially with his wife around, she felt uncomfortable. In their "last" dance together, Steve told Amy by wishing her good luck and hope that one day she will find her "man" that she always thinking of (not knowing it was actually him) and they hug.

    To bubcas,
Steve plays Nu Er Chi who is the founder of the Qing Dynasty, so yes it is based on Chinese history. I think it talks about the time when he was young and how he met all of the women in his life. It also talks about how he founded the Qing Dynasty. I have seen another series that talks about him as well, but in great detail.
    Hi Trinie,

I want to find out if Nu Er Chi eventually married to Vivan Chen's character? I am at the part where she pretends to be his cook to take care of her little sister? Her brother is pressured her to marry a Prince but she had turned him down.
