Part of Benny's plan was seeking revenge against the Suen family and the other part is he took a lumpsum of money from Suen-Lai-Lai by using Amy to give birth to a son since Ma Su can't conceive. Benny is suppose to keep it as a secret just in case Amy & Steve found out that it was both of them in the hut for 5 nights.

Spring Swallow is about 18 years-old girl who married to 50 years-old man. Steve was a supporting star in that movie. The girl secretly in love with a young man, that was steve’s character. This movie won some Golden Horse Awards though; I don’t think storyline is the type you like to watch. You may prefer to watch Chun Hua Qiu Yue or Wei Ni Ren Shao instead.

Yammie Lam is one of the pretty actress in the 80s. She is very pretty in "The Vixen's Tale" with Roger Kwok. Even tho she is a ghost in this series, she is a very beautiful ghost.

Sorry, I didn't know Amy has a sister. Does she acts with TVB or? Really? Steve also had a younger brother? What series does he acts in? Now, you got me curious....

Since CHQY & WNRS are mainland china productions, most of the casts are from China. Those series have 20 episodes in each so I think storyline wouldn’t be draggy. A problem for you is - these wouldn’t be available in Canto version. I don’t think either of these would be available with English sub-title. As far as I know, Steve’s series available in English sub-title are “Sting 4 – Steal The Sun 1996”, “The Legendary Swordsman 2000” and some of his earlier movies.

If you are still interested to watch Steve’s other series, I’d like to suggest you to try ATV Justice Pao 1995. Steve’s 1st ATV series. Asiaview Entertainment (US) recently published it on yesasia. It has 14 episodes, 7 VCDs only. Short but simply brilliant. I love it, one of my all time favorites!!! If you watch it & still feel that it is not the type you like to add in your collections, you can sell it to me. My understanding of canto is very bad though I still love to add it in my collections. It would be great if I can get it in Mandarin w/ traditional chinese sub-title.

Was "The Vixen's Tale" a fantasy series? Do you have any pic of Yammy Lam in that series? I heard that she had been hospitalized and has recovered from overstress of financial problem. I think b/c of her recovery from overstress, ATV and LIAM casts made a nice welcome party for her on LIAM promotion. Here are some pics of hers and LIAM casts (Steve & Ma Su were unable to attend it)

Oh you didn’t know about that? I’m not sure Amy’s big sis is an actress but 100% sure that Steve’s little brother Ma Jing Hao is also an actor b/c my friend confirmed about it. She said that Steve’s bro appeared in some Taiwanese 90’s series. As I’ve said he resembles party Steve & partly Andy Lau. Say, a good looking guy.

I saw a few recent pics of Amy & her sis in a scanned newsletter that issued around May 2004. According to that newsletter, she is Amy’s big sis if I translate correctly. Also seen a pic of her with Michelle Reis Lee in Michelle’s forum so I assumed that she might be a celebrity. I checked out that pic again unfortunately the message has removed already. In my opinion, she is very pretty, hot and sexy. I like her dimples.

Comparing 2 brothers or 2 sisters, each & everyone have their uniqueness in look wise although Steve has more charisma and Amy is more charming. For talent wise, need I say more?

Really, can you tell me the part when Sheren argued with Amy and Gilbert and started her own business. I missed that part, what were they argue about. And I think Gilbert was telling his mom that he said something that make Sheren mad... And he took Amy's side or something like that....

Yes, The Vixen's Tale is a fantasy ghost story. Unfortunately, this series was pretty old and I can't find any pictures on the internet. It's about a fox vixen (Sheren Tang) who fell in love with Roger (a human), they love each other at first before Roger knew Sheren is a fox. Then Roger's father arranged his marriage with Yammie (she was also a human) but Roger didn't want to marry her becoz he thought she was fat and ugly (he saw the wrong girl). So, Yammie disguised as a scholar (boy) and went to the same school with Roger. They became good friends (Roger did not know Yammie is a girl). Soon, Yammie fell in love with Roger and one day she wanted to give him a surprise by revealing the truth that she is a beautiful girl. Unfortunately, when they set a date to meet, it had a bad storm and Yammie accidentally killed herself when seeking a shelter in an old temple. She then, became a ghost and only Roger can see her. Ooopss....I better not spoil this series to you. I don't think TVB released this old series but to me it is a very good chinese fantasy series (one of TVB best ever made series).

Yammie is very beautiful in this series. Sheren plays a beautiful fox vixen and Roger Kwok was still new in acting with TVB. Overall, it had a good ending. I always love series with good ending unlike cliff-hangers or question mark types.

Back to Yammie's real life, yes she had some financial problems after she lost all her money in stock market. She was then on heavy pain killers and she had to go into a rehab. Later she had a strange behavior but now she is back to normal. (I think) She still looked very pretty in LIAM even tho she is already in her 40s. I hope to see her make more series soon.

Hi thythy! I don't remember this part about Sheren arguing with Amy & Gilbert. Too many episodes in this series.

In LIAM, I think Benny was killed in the war after he joined the army. It didn't actaully said what happened to him but most people believe he died in the end.
