I still understand 40% of Mandarin but I would prefer Cantonese version. I saw Justice Pao in yesasia.com had many parts. Are they all the same series? The link you gave me is Part 12 (Vol.1-14) with only 7VCDs. The price is good. If this is the only series on Justice Pao, I will buy it to add to my collection.

If a good ending implied that a happy ending, or vise versa, I’m afraid ATV Justice Pao 1995 was not your typical taste. Justice Pao series has a lot of cases though, each case rarely related to one another but Steve’s case has slightly related to other 3 cases b/c of Erica Choi’s character. I love Steve’s character. My most favorite character he ever portrayed. He was very convincing!!! His character made me curious about Amy Chan and Gilbert Lam’s characters in Heroines of The Yangs because their characters were the disciples of the same master.

That is why my favorite series by Steve Ma is TGOD, Fated Love & LIAM only.

Steve Ma's characters could have died in those 3 series even though ATV prolonged his characters' life till the ends. "What if" his characters died and Amy ended up with someone else or left heartbroken? I know ending up with someone else diverged from her characters' personalities & would be contradicted with the titles but this is just a senario. Would they be still your favoirite? just curious!!!

Yeah I made them just for fun. The actual size has high resolution (1024X768). I can’t post them here in actual size because iam runnig out of spaces. Which one do you want? Actually I am back to uni & have been busy with my course. Have to move there tomorrow. I might not be able to log on to the internet for a while.

The original story on the TGOD was Steve got killed in the war and Amy will end up with Gilbert. However, with the popular demand from the fans & viewers that wanted to see more screen time of Steve & Amy, ATV decided to extend this series to Part 2 and the story was changed by Steve survived in the war but lost his memory.

My personal opinion when TGOD had a sequel to Part 2, there are a lot of unnecessary scenes and it dragged for another 50 more episodes (I think).

They were not a bad looking couple, as Amy always looks good together with her other co-stars and so does Steve & his co-stars. One thing I must admit here is the chemistry between Amy & Steve. That’s amazing & Fated Love was a good example, as they forgot their personal matters on screen & could manage to bring about great chemistry. I must applause their professionalism. In my opinion, Gilbert Lam has better chemistry with Annie Man rather than with Amy Chan.

I agree with you here. To me TGOD seemed too long by expending the story with unnecessary plots, getting things into too much in details but lacking of necessary plots. Until today I still don’t feel I would like to add it in my collection. I don’t know what is your most fav of there 3 series but I’d prefer Fated Love from overall point of view. I might take over LIAM over TGOD if I have to choose between these 2.

I just saw a list of Steve's co-stars in his site & superisingly found that Yammie Lam was one of them ever since 1990 series - Romance of the Last Era. I saw those pics a few years ago but didn't know that she was in Romance of the Last Era with Steve & Damian Lau.

Same here. Among the 3 series, my favorite is also Fated Love. Unfortunately, I bought TGOD Part 2 to add in my collection and more than half of Part 2 I fast forward them especially the scenes during the Japanese invaded China, Maggie Siu became the reporter not knowing that her boss is a Japanese, Lok Ping and Maggie together and Lok Ping as the undercover working for the Japanese. What was worst is towards the last 20 episodes, Amy and Steve wear the same clothes! Hello?? Where are all their other clothes...taken away by the Japanese or what? Sorry...just too hilarious.
