    Default Fate of Ming Cult

If Cheng Kun had not ambushed Brightness Peak protector YX, Green Bat King and the 5 lackeys, and if ZWJ did not intervene in the Ming Cult's matter,
what would be of Ming Cult's fate? Would they have won against the 6 "righteous" Sects? Or would they be eradicated?

5 lackeys - should be called flag bearers.

Plus Yin Tianzheng and his horde of Tianying Sect people, they might be able to fend off the attack for awhile. The key to the battle would proabably be Miejue's Heavenly Sword and the Wudang 7 Heroes.

Sorry I got mixed up. Thanks a lot, Khan.

Yeah, the 5 drifters are Lenxian, Peng Yiyun, Priest Tieguan, Shuobude, Zhou Kan (冷嫌,铁冠道人张中,彭壹玉,说不得,周勘)

The five flag are named after each element, and each bearer took charge of them. Namely Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, Ground [锐金,巨木,洪水,烈火,厚土].

I think that Ming Cult will be able to fend off the righteous sects, but will be very internally hurt by the sects' gathered kung fu... well, at least, that's what I think, cuz I really don't want Ming Cult to be defeated and fall under the righteous sects's control...

hmmm if the 6 big righteous sects resorted to one on one style (winner goes on), representing Ming Cult at that time, would only consist of 9 able fighters (YX, White Eagle, Green Bat, Yin Yewang, and the 5 San Ren).

Assuming each sect would send out of its 2 most able fighters to represent at the minimum (being generous on Ming Cult's part).

Out of the pool of noteworthy "righteous" fighters to choose from: Shaolin has 3 (the 3 Kong Divine Reverends), WuDang has 5 (the 5 heroes), Hua Shan has 3 (headmaster and the 2 HuaShan Elders), KongDong has 2 (only the eldest 2 probably worth mentioning, considering Xie Xun before learning 7 injury fist can take out 3), Kun Lun has 2 (He TaiChong and his wife), and Er Mei has one (Mie Jue).

If it was elimination match, Ming Cult's 9 able fighters will have to endure through a minimum of 11 "worthy" opponents in order to be okay. situation looks pretty bad on Ming Cult's part.

7th hero was on par with White eagle (7th hero had better technique, but white eagle could cripple him if he wanted to). 2nd hero would be about YX's level? 1st hero could take on Green bat. The righteous sects still have shaolin and Er mei.

Ming cult would put up a good fight, but I cant see how they would win this.

Doesn't the Mng Cult have a huge numerical superiority (maybe not with just the Gwong Ming Peak-based members, but globally)? I'm under the impression that only the Ming Cult could field a force large enough numerically to contend with something like a national army; the five orthodox sects didn't have such numbers.

Yes, but where the army present at the battle? I think that 5 flag were there, but the army wasnt. Something about the internal dispute. I have always wondered how many did the sects bring along. Did each sect bring thousands or hundreds?
