I'm up to episode 6. For now, I am liking this series better than the first. Well, for one, at least Tse Yin is not pair up with some young chicks.

Oh yeah I spotted Patrick Tse in Shaolin Soccer, he played the villian. So I guess Raymond Wong's character died somewhere in between the prequel and the sequel because he's not in the sequel.

Kenneth's character is good. Theresa's character is bad.

The characters mostly play different roles and with new additions as well.
Pinky and Michelle are sisters in this series. Their father is Law Kar Yin and sorry, I don't know the name of their mum. Then, Tse Yin plays the family friend. A really good friend.
Pinky is a lawyer and her love interest (for now) is Kenneth Chan, also a lawyer.
I don't see any association with Part 1, as yet but I prefer this series. Pinky plays goodie, which I like (cos I like her).
IMHO, I think this cast is stronger than the last.

But we can't deny he acts well too. I like the scenes where he bickers with his children, especially when playing monopoly.
His daughter in this series (who played Michelle's half sister in Part 1) has improved. I think she acts better in this series. And I like her character here.

Teresa is the lady next to he bald guy (sorry don't know his name). Is this series a continuation of the first one? or is it a different storyline?
